Enjoy being at the heart of one of Spokane’s best neighborhoods! The space Welcome! We are thrilled to host you and yours in our South Hill basement studio! (For light sleepers, please consider that this is a basement in our family home and sounds travel down at times. We have provided complimentary items to help with this such as a white noise machine, fan, and disposable earplugs.) We are located on the beautiful tree lined Manito Boulevard; just a short walk to multiple parks, restaurants, coffee shops and sightseeing…or just stay at home and relax on your private patio. We look forward to doing everything we can to ensure that you enjoy your stay! Enter through the gate to your private patio complete with rocking chairs, a hammock, and cafe lights for those wonderful evenings outside. You will enter the studio, built in our family’s basement, from here. This cozy and eclectic space will immediately make you feel at home. Enjoy complimentary high speed internet, new queen mattress with quality bedding, dining area, complimentary full laundry facilities, and stainless steel commercial kitchenette. If the weather doesn’t allow for time spent in the outdoor hammock, simply enjoy the indoor one! Our floors are cement, but we have warmed them with vintage Turkish rugs, and offer a new set of slippers for each guest to use during their stay. For your entertainment, there is a Smart TV where you can watch your Hulu, Netflix, and Amazon Prime. Also provided, is a DVD player and a large library of movies. If you are looking to disconnect, there is a variety of board games and books for you to choose from as well. Our kitchenette offers basic stainless steel appliances including a two burner induction cooktop, microwave, toaster, tea kettle, refrigerator, dishes, pots, pans, glassware, cutlery and utensils. It also includes a drip coffee machine with coffee. Our studio is in a quiet residential area, just 5 blocks from Manito Park (90 acres of gardens, sprawling lawns, fountains, walking paths, and a duck pond), 4 blocks to Comstock’s public pool and park, 3 blocks to Thomas Hammer Coffee Roasters, and 4 blocks to Manito Tap House and Republic Pi (wood fired pizza). If you are looking for adventure, we are are just a short 5 minute drive to some of the city’s best urban hiking and mountain biking trails. For golf enthusiasts, enjoy 2 public golf courses within 15 minutes at Indian Canyon Golf Course or Down River Golf Course. Please see our guidebook for other local recommendations!
