Lavender Lodge at The Cotswold Reindeer Herd.

Stay in Reindeer House and meet our herd of real reindeer in their home! Tucked away in the heart of the Cotswolds. Peaceful, and only a couple of miles from Cirencester town and The Cotswold Water park. This well appointed luxury lodge has 2 large bedrooms and a double sofa bed giving it the capacity to sleep 6. With a spacious bathroom and large shower, a well appointed kitchen, log burner, central heating , smart tv, fast Wifi and our very own Santa's Forest trail just a few steps away. The space The house is a timber construction house in a tranquil setting on our farm. On the track leading to our reindeer houses and on the edge of our Santa's Forest, opposite our two ponds. It has a spacious living/cooking area with two large bedrooms with double beds, and a large bathroom with bath and separate large shower. With gas central heating and a log burner for the chillier evenings, its a very quiet and cosy spot. Our lodges are available to book during our annual Christmas Event, details of which can be found on our website. Guest access Our Santa's Forest is 20 metres away opposite the house and is a mini trail and enjoyable ten minute stroll in one of our Christmas tree plantations. Along the trail there is lots of wildlife to see and areas where our reindeer can be viewed when they are out grazing. Our ponds are also havens for wildlife and the home to numerous goldfish. We have livestock fences and locked gates for areas which we do not wish our guests to access, for their own safety on this working farm. The ponds are surrounded by a low fence to allow viewing in a safe manner. There is a second lodge on the farm and the areas detailed above are available to guests from both properties. Other things to note When our guests arrive they will find fresh flowers, a complimentary bottle of wine, and a small carton of milk in the fridge. A starter pack including tea, coffee and sugar are provided, as well as shower gel, soap and shampoo. All bed linen is provided, and also towels, washing up liquid, crockery, cooking utensils, a set of pans, and cutlery. There are also a variety of books available to read. WE ALSO invite our guests to a complimentary tour of our reindeer herd, to meet these amazing animals up close. If our guests wish to invite their family or friends to join them on the complimentary reindeer tour, they are very welcome, for a nominal fee of £10 per person. Guest Wi-Fi is provided at a ripping 449Mb/s upload speed, easily fast enough to view movies, or run conference video calls for work or play.
