This half-timbered cottage is spacious and ideal for families or a group. Located in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, it was built in the old press of the Pontallery manor. There you can enjoy the countryside (2 ha park) and a beautiful view of the Norman bocage. Come and discover the making of the famous Norman cheeses and cider in Livarot. It is also the land of the horse: stud farm nearby. The Côte Fleurie with Deauville, Honfleur is 40 minutes away as well as the landing beaches. The space The house, independent, is comfortable and has a large living room with a living room (sofa bed for 2 additional people) and a dining room, a large kitchen, a bedroom with 2 single beds and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. Upstairs, two bedrooms with a double bed each, another bedroom with 4 single beds and a separate bathroom equipped with a bathtub and toilet. A private terrace with good exposure will allow you to sunbathe. It is equipped with a table, chairs and parasol for pleasant barbecues. Various outdoor games: volleyball net, ping pong table, petanque court, bicycles. This building dates from the 16th century and once contained a real press, an agricultural machine used to extract apple juice by pressure before becoming cider or calvados! If you come in the spring, the apple trees in the park and the surrounding fields will be in bloom. Guest access It's 200 km from Paris. Lisieux is 14 km away: it is possible to arrive by train at Lisieux station and take bus 253 which drops you off near the manor. Livarot and its shops are 4 km away. You can park close to the cottage. Other things to note This gîte is part of a set of 4 separate gîtes and all completely independent. Sheets are included in the price of the stay. Basic equipment includes: welcome kit with coffee pods, tea, herbal tea, sugar, salt, pepper, soap, 2 garbage bags, 1 roll of toilet paper and cleaning products. Pets are welcome. The price of heating (from October 1 to March 29) is not included in the rental: 8 kW per day is offered to you, a meter reading will be done at check-in and check-out.
