The space Townhome in quiet location along walking path with no thru traffic once you enter the Big Boulder Lake/Ski community, which is situated in a number of wooded cul du sacs adjacent to the lake. Parking is to the rear of homes within each cul du sac. Cars & bikes not allowed beyond the cul du sac parking in the rear of townhomes and HOA bylaws prohibit guest/renters pets. Partial lake view thru the tree line that borders the lake and the Lake Club is 50 yards up the walking path. Big Boulder Ski is within the community - see map pix for proximity. The home has new appliances and is fully equipped and furnished; linens are provided. The home features a large soaking tub in the upstairs bathroom and a propane grille (propane provided). The townhome is nestled between Boulder Lake and Big Boulder Ski slopes, both walkable, and just up the road from Lake Harmony and a short drive to historic Jim Thorpe, with steam engine train ride, white water rafting, a great bike path (with bike rental if needed) and numerous restaurants and shops to choose from. Blue Ridge Vineyard (T&L rates it 13th in the nation) is 15 miles away. Hickory Run State Park is 5 miles away, check its website for all offerings- there are too many to mention here! An abundance of dining options and activities are nearby- you are encouraged to explore the internet for things to see and do near Lake Harmony and Big Boulder Lake & Mountain. The Victorian Town of Jim Thorpe is just 11 miles and offers an abundance of dining and shopping options. The Boulder View Tavern is lakeside next to the Lake Club, with a great outdoor bar and patio for lunch or dinner. In summer we are steps to the Big Boulder Lake club (5 passes included for guests) where all amenities, beach, pool etc a small store with snacks and ice creams and restrooms with changing areas. Given mountain location the nights tend to cool down so as most homes in the area we do not have AC. The main living/dining room has a multi directional ceiling fan that cools and circulates air, and each BR has tower fans with remote.
