Our eco-friendly shipping container cabin is nestled in the heart of Rocklands. This unique cabin has been thoughtfully designed with natural green and grey interiors, providing a cosy and comfortable stay for nature lovers, couples, and digital nomads alike. The space The container cabin offers a studio-style layout with a comfortable 2-sleeper king-size bed, a kitchenette, and a bathroom with a bidet. The outside deck serves as an extra lounge space, perfect for unwinding after a long day of exploring the area. The Grasslang features a kitchenette, ideal for preparing light meals, and a big outside deck, which serves as extra lounge space for you to unwind in the fresh mountain air. Take a refreshing outdoor shower and water our Granadilla Plant with the run-off. Our bathroom is fitted with a bidet shower, and we also have a braai place for those who enjoy a good old-fashioned South African barbecue. For the adventurous types, take the bed outside to sleep under the stars and enjoy the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. For those who love cooking, we have a plant box with fresh herbs to add some extra flavour to your meals. And for digital nomads, we have free Wi-Fi to keep you connected during your stay. Guest access Our 2x6m container cabin is the perfect spot for couples looking for a peaceful getaway. Relax in the outdoor bathtub while taking in the stunning views of the surrounding mountains. Please note the dirt/rocky road to the cabin is not tended. Cars should be park at the bottom of the property and guests need to walk 250 metres uphill to the cabin. Other things to note The Rocklands are most well known for its amazing climbing opportunities, offering several hundred routes for all levels. Exquisite Rooibos, Olives and Wine is farmed in the valley, allowing you to experience and taste the local produce of the Cederberg. Having one restaurant and one coffee shop close by provide visitors with the basic needs. The closest town with all amenities (supermarkets, petrol stations banks etc.), Clanwilliam, is a 25 minute drive away and leaves Rocklands to be a place to switch off from the hustle and bustle of civilisation.
