Unwind on the deck, by the propane fire pit, while soaking in the mesmerizing Aurora views. Often my husband Tony is Flying his bush plane or Paraglider from our private air strip. The space This property is located on a northern aspect, Hillside ideal for viewing the aurora northern lights. There is a porch tucked away amongst the birch trees with a propane fire pit. Guest access Feel free to explore the property and wander among the trees. Whether you’re here to relax or adventure, we hope this place feels like a peaceful retreat. Other things to note Our cabin is located about 15 miles from the Fairbanks International Airport, or about a 20 minute drive. The cabin is located on a hill, so during the winter months (October - March), 4 Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicles with all-season or winter tires are highly recommended. Please note this cabin does have an exterior security camera located on the other side of the driveway near outdoor Christmas lights. We only use it to help know if guests have arrived safely. Note: some amenities are seasonal and/or stored in the garage.
