IDEAL FOR GROUPS This house is the perfect space for groups - families or friends, since you will enjoy a homy atmosphere with different spaces to chill, either the garden, the large table at the dining room, the different decks, the pool, the garden or the beach. A REMOTE WORK HAVEN We are lucky enough to enjoy a privileged internet connection (to island standards) that allows excellent online work (we reach up to 100mbps in some parts of the house, especially in the working station) and most streaming services. The villa counts with a working desk with ocean view inside the room and an ergonomic chair You can switch from indoor work with AC or outdoor work on the multiple spaces outside. ROOM 1 The house counts with a 25 sqm A/C bedroom with a king-size bed with ocean view. Wake up to the sunrise and the sound of the waves, or enjoy a movie with our 65 inch Samsung TV in a rainy day. The are two more single-size beds in the same room for additional guests. The comfort room has two spaces, one with the toilet and a larger lavatory room with a shower and two sinks. ROOM 2 The second room is a 20 sqm Aircon room with a queen-size bed, a 55 inch Samsung TV, and a working station facing the ocean, and private bathroom. It has private access from the garden area. OCEAN OR POOL? Swim in our pool, or in the ocean thanks to our private access to the beach at the surf spot of Tuason. THE GARDEN The property has a huge 500 sqm garden facing the ocean with multiple spaces and night lighting. OUTDOOR LIFE The outdoor area has two wooden decks, including a dining area that can be used for co-working, as well as an ocean-facing sofa and a coffee table. COOK AND DINE The villa has a spacious kitchen with a stove, a large refrigerator, a cooking area, and a bar. Keep in mind that this house is the permanent residence of the host, so the kitchen has a complete set of high-quality utensils, pans, wine/whisky/water glasses required for a real home experience. Special care with all utilities and house equipment is required for all our guests. *Disclaimer: All island connections suffer from occasional line drops and we are not an exception. We recommend bring a backup line. Guests can leave their motorbike right outside the entrance of the house. The house is located a few meters from Harana Surf Resort and Tarzan's. The host or manager won't be in the property but will be reachable at any time, since we live in town Located in Tuason Point, a popular surfing spot in General Luna. Moonrise villa is in between Harana and Tarzan's. The neighbor is super quiet, with no roosters and far enough from the main road, which is at walking distance. This is a surfing area, so expect surfers in the surroundings at early morning. The only thing that will bother you is the sound of the waves! The house is located in the main road in Cloud 9 area, General Luna, in the barangay of Catangnan. Coming from General Luna center, the property is right after Harana Surf Resort. At walking distance you will find fantastic breakfasts at Tarzan's B&B and South Mindanao food at Harana's restaurant. Parking is widely available for guests just at the property. We count with a covered spot to park your motorbike next to our entrance door. IMPORTANT NOTICE: The Villa is the permanent residence of the host. The house is only available while the host is not on the island. This will guarantee you a full home experience with well-cared equipment and the details of your own home. We invite our guests to keep the place in harmony with a loving home and not with the transactional experience of commercial accommodation. Strictly NO PARTIES OR EVENTS ALLOWED. If you are intending to host a party or an event, please don't book Moonrise Villa Siargao. If detected, every person entering the property will incur a charge. ELECTRICITY AND WATER Electric/Water supply interruptions are recurrent issues on the entire island. The public water network only supplies water 10 hours a day. To mitigate this, we run a water pump 24/7, but it's exposed to electricity disruptions. In case of unexpected electrical cuts/interruptions on the island, please be informed that we do not have a generator as we are eco-friendly. Brownouts are inevitable, please be ready to lose water supply and electricity in the entire villa until the power supply is restored. Electricity and water are extremely precious resources on the island, and the most expensive in the entire country. Please be mindful of the environment. SAFETY Being beachfront, the common areas are partially accessible by the beach. Do not leave valuables in the living room. Always lock your room when you are not in the property or while you are sleeping. We are not responsible for belonging lost or stolen in the property. For your safety, the house has several cameras in outdoor areas, and are placed in a direction that won't monitor the inside of the rooms. The footage will only be monitored in case of incidents. NATURE AND ANIMALS You will be staying in a beachfront house in direct contact with the elements and exposed to mother nature. While the house is near many bars and restaurants, the jungle and the ocean will be surrounding you. Please expect sudden changes of weather, strong rains, wild animals and pests. Stray dogs should be kept out if the fence is always closed, but other animals like cats, birds, bugs, frogs, kermits, crabs, mosquitos, flies and occasionally cockroaches and mouses may be present. We regularly pest control the house and we managed to neutralize most sources of mosquito nests and the result is quite good for island standards, but still all have these visitors and that's part of island life.
