Large modern home is set on 1 acre in a lovely quiet area with beautiful views. 1 or 2 bedrooms available, very important to read pricing details below of how to book 2nd bedroom. The guest suite area has its own entrance and parking, with private lounge/kitchenette area, luxury bathroom & toilet. Outdoor area with BBQ , table, chairs & use of a laundry. Located 45 mins from Brisbane & 45 mins from the Sunshine Coast close to attractions, Australia Zoo, Aussie World, fishing and beaches The space Our previous guests have commented on how safe/secure & homely the guest suite felt, especially for people travelling on their own & wanting to feel comfortable knowing we were there if needed. We also understand that every guest has unique needs and preferences, and we strive to provide accurate information about our property to help guests make informed decisions. Important Information Below: Bedrooms Aircon & ceiling fans. Blackout curtains & blinds. Alarm clocks Phone charging port on lamps next to beds Bedroom 2 also has it's own TV on the wall Kitchenette This area is more suitable for cooking the odd snack/breakfast, not really a place to cook the Sunday 3 course lunch. A 4 burner BBQ with seating area/shade umbrella is just outside your entrance area. (Yes, there is a single induction hotplate inside) Laundry Washing machine can be used in daylight hours. Small charge if use of Dryer is required. (Honesty jar) Hanging area is FREE. Guests with Children Please note that our property is not equipped with amenities specifically designed for infants or younger children. The layout of our bedrooms which are separated by a short corridor provides access to the kitchenette which may not be suitable for families with little ones. Additionally, we do not have safety locks on drawers, baby gates, cribs or high chairs available. As such we will not accept bookings with Infants or children under the age of 11 years. If their are children in your group, please state ages at time of booking request as this helps us when we prepare bedding for your stay. Accessibility Unfortunately, wheelchair access would be problematic due to space restrictions. For those with reduced mobility, please note that we do not have any supported living aids at the property. While we regret any inconvenience this may cause, we want to ensure our guests have a clear understanding of the amenities and layout of the space. Maximum Occupancy 1 or 2 bedrooms are available for up to 4 guests only, no extra guests will be accepted. Bedroom 1 features a configuration of a large Queen bed or 2 Single beds. Bedroom 2 has a Queen size bed. Once booking is confirmed with us, please advise your preference for Bedroom 1. Second Bedroom Pricing When the booking is made for 1 or 2 guests then 1 bedroom will be made available automatically. When the second bedroom is required then an additional charge will be applicable. How to Book 2nd Bedroom. When more than 2 guests book, the second bedroom price is automatically added to the booking. If you only have 2 guests which need a bedroom each please put down 3 guests on your booking so the second bedroom will be added & the pricing will be correct for the 2 bedrooms. The Airbnb booking platform does not have a choice for 2 bedrooms, this is why it has to be booked this way. Guest access Guests are welcomed to the private designated guest suite which is located within our home and adjoining outside guest facilities. Including BBQ with burner feature and guest dining space, shade and seating. For the safety of our pets, we prefer guests to refrain from entering the property through the side gates as these lead into our family garden zone. Entering this area could inadvertently let the dogs out. As we live here with our family, entry to these zones is not permitted for guests and could be startling for the younger members of our family. If unsure, please ask. Other things to note We provide a great space for our Guests. Whether you are visiting the area, working away from home for long or short term. tradesperson or professional, adventuring the country and need a comfy place to rest; our great reviews will give you the peace of mind that our place is a great choice. Please Note: Breakfast is complimentary & supplied free of charge. This consists of various cereals, bread, jams, butter, milk. Some coffee pods are also supplied for the Nespresso machine & also teabags & sugar. Breakfast items will be replenished weekly for guest staying more than 7 days. If you have any special dietary requirements or preferences you would need to bring your own supplies. (No discount will be given if you choose to bring your own items) We live on the premises and have quiet very friendly medium sized dogs at our home. It would be very rare for them to be in your space, as they are secure in our home and garden. If you have sensitivities to animals or are not a dog lover, then this property may not be the one for you. For guests with additional sensitivities or allergies please advise. We will happily remove room fragrances for your comfort. Climate and Wildlife We undertake regular pest barrier control at our home to protect it and we have high quality barrier screens installed on doors and windows. From time to time you may encounter the odd insect due to the climate. To deal with this we provide a pest spray in the suite for you to use for any insects. As we live on site, any concerns, just let us know. The Queensland weather can be unpredictable. When we have a heatwave its really hot and when it rains it can be torrential. We can't control the weather and advise visitors to be prepared, whichever season you select to stay.
