Villa Maya is located in the east of the island,45 minutes from the airport,in the charming village Trou d'eau douce,directly on the seaside with stunning views over the Bay, a property of 4400 m2 with 3 separate villas sharing the infinity pool. Renovated 450 m2 Villa ,Maya is the largest ; it has its own garden,private jacuzzi in front of the terrace,prime position on the lagoon with superb views.Thus all 4 bedrooms have a bathroom en suite, jacuzzis in bathrooms; Private billiard/ pool table. Trou d'eau douce, is a typical Mauritian village, unspoiled from tourism, even less than 10 km from the best hotel establishments on the island such as the Saint Geran, Shangri-La Touessrok, Belle Mare Plage, The Prince Mauritius, Anahita etc.. Villa Maya Oceanfront is lies on a property of 4400 m2 on the sea with 3 separate villas sharing the large infinity pool. Newly renovated Villa Maya with 450 m2 is the largest of the 3 and has its own private garden plus a private Jacuzzi to refresh, in a prime position on the lagoon edge with superb views. Thus all 4 bedrooms have a bathroom en suite, 3 of them with Jacuzzis! Not to forget the billiard / pool table ! 1 bedroom en suite for 2 ad and 2 children is in the basement with own entrance. 1 bedroom en suite on ground floor. 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms on the first floor. An add. small bedroom is available for 1 extra person , on request only. In addition, 2 housemaids prepare Mauritian specialties with your shopping at extra cost. Book your boat in the village to pick you up at the Villas private Jetty and take you in only 15 minutes to the waterfalls and to the famous Isle aux cerfs , with its beautiful white sandy beaches and plenty of water sport activities Details From Villa Maya, Watching the continuous spectacle of the day cruise catamarans, the kite surfers, the fishermen pirogues going out and returning from their fishing day is just relaxing. A fabulous infinity swimming pool of 17 x 4.5 metres overlooks the Bay; There is the first beach 200 meters from the house and another beach 400 metres from where you can take endless walk’s! Although we encourage you to drive 8 minutes only to the beaches of Palmar and Belle Mare with all their little cricks. First shopping facility and restaurant are at 100 meters from Villa Maya in the village of Trou d’eau Douce. Others from 200 meters on; Large Supermarket in Flacq, 15 minutes by car. Different famous Golf courses are nearby, Anahita, The Link, Le Touessrok, Maritim, The Legend . There is plenty of spare room at Villa Maya, should you bring your own Golf or Kite equipment for exemple. First shopping is at only 100 meters from the villa; More shopping facilities in the village , plus a big Supermarket in Flacq, 15 minutes by car. Services Villa Maya Oceanfront, offers Mauritian services of 2 housemaids who do the laundry, ironing, cleaning, washing up, bedding 6 day/ week. Their services are included in the price. When desired they prepare your meals , lunch or dinner with your groceries, 1 single and same Mauritian menu for the group. Food and Beverage are not included. Tourist Tax Starting October 1st, 2025, a government tourist tax of €3 per person as from 12 years , per night will be collected in cash upon arrival.
