Whippoorwill Retreat, Nebo NC

Come escape to beautiful views of the mountains to a relaxing/secluded hideaway in the woods to unwind with nature/star gazing. We have a great walk to Lake James. We are nestled at the bottom of Linville Gorge where you can swim/hike/mountain bike. We are 1 1/2miles to Fonta Flora brewery and to Paddys Creek State Park. We have access to Fonta Flora Trail. Morganton/Marion have lots of great restaurants. We are a 1hr drive to Asheville/Boone. The space I am 4 person maximum! No parties or get togethers. I keep coffee/powered creamer/sugar available. I keep herbal teas in the cabinet. I also keep waffles and syrup in the cottage This is a great place for adults with children. Very quiet and relaxing. It would be a great place for someone who likes to write. It is very peaceful. We keep fire wood available for campfires. We have 2 50 inch smart tv’s for streaming. Guest access We have 4 acres nestled back in the woods away from highways and people. We are secluded with very few neighbors. You won’t see any cars on the property except for me and other guest at our Hemlock Haven Cabin. We have access to the Fonta Flora Trail that will take you to the Fonta Flora Brewery and Paddy’s Creek State Park. Other things to note No parties or get togethers! I am 4 maximum. I live next door. We have fire pits. The 4 dogs and are on a wireless fence they are friendly and like to be petted. They sleep in the house at night for a peaceful nights sleep. I keep coffee, herbal teas, sugar and creamer on hand. In the shower I keep shampoo and conditioner. I also have body wash. Laundry detergent and softener is provided. It is like home away from home.
