MulcHouse is working for a sustainable world from the southern hemisphere. These houses show what is possible if you use naturally occurring materials for the construction of eco-friendly homes. The structure is made of wood and the thermal insulation is made of straw bales from the surrounding fields. There is no better feeling than being in silence, sheltered by 35cm of natural fiber throughout the house! Join the MulcHouse experience! The space A place to disconnect from the urban world in a rural setting, in a home with walls, ceilings, and floors insulated with bales of straw, will give you a unique experience. Come and rest in a landscape full of sounds of birds, frogs and other beings to discover ... With its own parking lot, the refuge in Tralcao offers a break from the modern world. The shelter seeks to create a comfortable interior with a base temperature of 18 degrees supported with a small wood stove for greater thermal comfort. It has a bag of firewood per stay. The water is from a 23-meter deep well. The hot water comes from an electric water heater inside the bathroom. Guest access The property is accessed through a metal gate. The car arrives at the front of the shelter and guests can access the patio whenever they want. The city of Valdivia is 30 kilometers from Tralcao. The airport is a 5-minute drive away. There is transportation from the cabin to the road ($2,000) and from the road to the city in mini buses ($1,500). Uber and Didi to and from Valdivia, value approx. 15,000. You can bring bicycles or kayaks to tour the nature sanctuary. Other things to note Tralcao is in the middle of a natural sanctuary. The shelter is a 10-minute walk to the river dock and there you can fish or if you have a yak, go out and explore the surroundings from the water. In summer, guests have access to fruit trees to enjoy. In the afternoons, going for a walk and picking blackberries, cherries and plums is a pleasant family activity. It is close to the Tralcao cider factory and the Runca cheese and Bundor beer factory.
