This is our very cozy 1850 home in the Stone Village of Chester. The house has many of the original features and charm including wide plank pine flooring, plaster walls and original molding. Some of the door hardware is very unique and original to pre-civil war. The Town of Chester has unique shopping and restaurants, and is one of the safest places in the US. The neighborhood is on the National Register of Historic Places. The space The home has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms available for rent, two bedrooms are upstairs. We have all the things you will need in our kitchen. The kitchen has a Blue Star gas stove with a griddle. We also have a modern convection/air fryer, microwave, toaster, panini press, blender and all the utensils for gourmet cooking. Floors in the kitchen are not level, as is common around VT and this area. The dining room has all you need for a nice table setting. Overall, we feel the home is a comfortable cozy country place where we love to get away in Vermont. We hope you will too. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire home.
