Welcome to Edenton! This house is just a short 2–3-minute walk to the center of town and to the waterfront! The beach is just an hour away. The outside may look rough, but the inside has been refreshed with some modern touches in mind! As this is a 100+ year old house expect wear and tear on many things so bear with us! It's not perfect, but its home. Everything is in walking distance such as the cinema, restaurants, fishing docks, the bay, and the two parks! Stay with us! Spacious rooms. Plenty of light during the day from the outside. Nice comfy beds with black-out curtains just added for every bedroom. 1 Queen Sized bed, 2 Full Sized Beds. 2 Full Bathrooms Typical backyard space in a town house Most of the furniture is antique and second hand and the floors have wear, so minor knicks, stains, and cracks are present. In recent years Edenton has become a popular retirement location and a destination for heritage tourism. There are several events that happen on the weekends and the Holiday Season. The center of town and the surrounding houses are a very scenic walk all the way to the waterfront! I usually go on walks in the morning to enjoy the view. Sidewalks leading to the center of town easily accessed. Parking along the road is free and so is parking in the park areas. We try our best to keep it clean and look nice inside, so it feels like you're at home. There are imperfections you may or may not notice (i.e. some Marble floor water, rust(the yellow marks), or dirt stains(they require special sanding), or ceiling leaks from a recent storm, scratches on the wood flooring). The bathtubs need to be refinished for stains too but I always scrub and disinfect all surfaces that you will be in contact with for your safety! The second floor will get hot in the summer because the AC unit cannot keep up with the heat(we are considering dropping in a new AC unit in the future). Luckily there are fans in every room. It just comes along with the charm, and we try our best to restore or replace things when it is completely necessary. We would like to think this house is mainly for families going on vacation or going to events. No house is perfect, but we just want you to be comfortable, so you have a great vacation.
