Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. Our cottage is located at the top of the fish ladder and feet away from creek street. It is less than 5 minutes away from the stores on creek street. It is walking distance to the Thomas basin area. The house is three bedrooms (one bedroom does not have a door) and two bathrooms. You frequently see bald eagles flying around Ketchikan creek from the living room windows and the deck. It also has a fully equipped kitchen with a grill. Our cottage was built in 1945, but we recently updated it. There are about 4 steps to get inside the cottage. The living room, dining room, kitchen, a bedroom, a full bathroom with bars in the shower, and a washer and dryer are downstairs. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, a full bath and a balcony. One of the bedrooms upstairs does not have a door, but we have a room divider (see the pictures). You have access to the whole house except for a few locked closets, the pantry, and the area outside the back door by the laundry area.
