Treasure of Harlem: Balcony View and Fun Hosts

Bedroom with a large window and natural light all day located on the 21st floor with 24H security, in building laundry, and an unobstructed balcony view of Manhattan. Large and clean shared living space and kitchen. Steps from the 125th St trains that enable guests to travel with ease to all parts of Manhattan and other boroughs. Or the option to stay local for Harlem culture, history, and NYC night life. The space Our beautiful apartment is located on the 21st floor in the up and coming neighborhood of SoHa, also known as Spanish Harlem. Guests may want to stay local for Harlem's strong culture and history. There are well known local dining options on Harlem's Restaurant Row with new bars opening on every block, shopping on 125th, movies and the Apollo Theatre, multiple parks, public pools, New York Sports Club and Blink Fitness, and a new Whole Foods. Guest access Guests will have access to their private room, kitchen, bathroom, living space, laundry room downstairs in the lobby, and balcony. Hosts ask to maintain a clean space and to keep balcony door closed when not in use or supervised. During your stay During the week, we work then tend to make dinner at home and relax with some TV or go out to enjoy NYC night life with some drinks. Despite sharing a living space, we plan to give guests space and hope guests have the time to enjoy all of what NYC has to offer. We expect guests to spend most of their trip out and about; we don't mind guests who party, but hope for someone to not bring it home.  However, we are available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and would not mind sharing a meal or drink during guests stay. Other things to note Although all guests have access to the balcony, we ask smokers to especially use this space when necessary. We have pets in our home including a bunny and a green cheek conure, Pistachio. Pistachio is a small flighted bird who spends most of her day in and out of her cage. We ask guests to be extra careful with the balcony door to ensure she stays in the apartment and is not exploring NYC without supervision. Despite the gentrification of Harlem, there is still room for improvement...this apartment is located on a busy street with plenty of local characters who typically keep to themselves. Enjoy the different cultures and do not be discouraged, this area is safe and quite vibrant.
