Shamrock Park is located in the neighborhood on the Intercostal Waterway, which offers walking and biking trails in addition to a playground and a learning center. This area of Florida is known for its world class fishing, book a local fishing charter for an awesome day on the water. Shop locally for groceries at Detwiler's, Aldi, Publix, Winn Dixie, Walmart or Costco. Walking the North or South Jetty is a must while you stay in South Venice, especially at sunset! Pelican Ally is a favorite spot for an awesome local-fare dinner on the Intercostal. Sand Bar Tiki & Grille is a fun spot with an outdoor bar and live music/dancing on Manasota Key for lunch or dinner. Hunt for fosillized shark teeth and shells at the local beaches.
