Georgian luxury home High St, Henley -2 bed/4 pers

Enjoy a stylish experience at this recently refurbished 3-storey Georgian townhouse. Centrally-located in prime position on the mile long High Street of this pretty market town, which dates back to medieval times. There are many independent gastro pubs & restaurants located on the door-step, as well as cafes, traditional pubs & shops. The property contains many original period features, with 2 double bedrooms, lounge, dinning room, kitchen & laundry room, as well as small enclosed rear garden. The space We have tried to create a unique 'boutique' feel to this newly refurbished property, with the emphasis on comfort & luxury. Expect many natural materials: leather, cowhide, sheepskin, sisal, marble, wood etc to enhance the earthy colour tones. We have retained all the original features that were present: sash windows, timber floorboards, exposed beams, fireplaces, flagstone flooring & internal doors, so expect things to be a bit quirky & 'wonky' as it is 200 years old !!…..especially the stairs, for which you need to be nimble !! We have obviously added modern conveniences like a smart TV with Netflix's (you can also sign in to your Amazon, BBC iPlayer accounts etc) & high speed fibre broadband. As well as a fully equipped kitchen with gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, fridge & freezer. Guests will be provided with complimentary tea & coffee facilities. We even have a small laundry room with washing machine, drying rack, iron & ironing board. There's a large bath & shower with towels provided. Two generous double bedrooms with beds piled with extra cushions & blankets, plus necessary wardrobes & dressing tables. Expect to see little extra decorative items throughout. There's a small cottage garden at the rear with table & chairs to enjoy any good weather. But the best thing about the property is its prime location on the High St, the perfect place to 'people watch' we know you won't be able to help sitting in the windows watching the world go by !! Guest access Guest will have full uninterrupted use of the entire property & garden. Other things to note Due to the property’s age, expect low beams, narrow door ways & steep, non-standard stairs (there is a handrail). We think these quirks add to it’s uniqueness & charm, but it could be difficult for anyone with mobility impairments & young children would need to be supervised (there are no stair-gates). Please note that, due to the property's central High Street location in the heart of Henley-in-Arden, some occasional road noise may be heard at times. However, most guest feel the convenience more than makes up for this, with the town's many cafes, restaurants, pubs and independent shops all just a very short walk away.
