A perfect Rocky Mountain getaway. A unique and tranquil getaway that is surrounded by Rock Canyons and Aspen trees, with a creek running through it. Very private and peaceful spot to get away from it all. Located at 8250 feet; a nice cool spot to get away from the heat and noise of it all. Please be aware that guests should expect snow/ice conditions when renting in Oct thru May. 4WD/AWD required. Check weather conditions before leaving and download driving directions prior to arrival. The space We do have plenty of wildlife around the cabins. Animals include chipmunks, birds, trout, bear, mtn lion, moose and bobcat. Guests will generally not see them during the day, as they tend to be active at dusk and dawn although a moose may wonder through during the day. Guest access Imperative for guests to read driving directions to the cabin which I have detailed in "Info for guests "prior to driving in the mountains as some guests have had a hard time finding the cabin as there is NO cell phone service until you open up the cabin. Other things to note If you need more space for friends we do have other cabins on the property. Roadhouse, Rock Creek and Aspen Leaf Cabins are 1 bedroom. All cabins are in the same vicinity. Aspen and Streamside are next door to each other. Power outages and internet interruptions do occur throughout the year, especially during mountain/wind/snow storms. Snow can also pile up on the internet and power lines causing temporary outages. This is a normal occurrence in the Rocky Mtns so be aware. We do not give refunds in the event of these power outages.
