Chalet 2 mins walk to the beach

Set atop the sand dunes, Hillcrest is a beautiful 3 bedroom family semi-detached chalet, well equipped for 6 people. Not overlooked and ideally situated to benefit from breath-taking 180 degree panoramic views and sunsets over the sea from St Ives in one direction to Godrevy lighthouse in the other. With the beach just a few minutes walk away you can leave the car at home and enjoy the 3 miles of golden sand. The space Hillcrest is a comfortable, 3 bedroom semi-detached chalet, well equipped for 6 people and just a few minutes walk away from 3 miles of golden sand. Great for surfing, body boarding, kite surfing ect. Life guard patrolled beach. Not overlooked and ideally situated to enjoy spectacular sunsets over St Ives bay with a glass of wine. Large grassed area in front of the chalet with picnic bench for alfresco meals. Electricity included. Due to it’s location atop the sand dunes, Hillcrest may not be suitably positioned for anyone with restricted mobility. (Please contact for details of alternative access) There is a well equipped kitchen fitted with large fridge freezer; cooker; microwave; and dishwasher. Newly fitted bathroom with shower; WC and basin. 3 double bedrooms. 2x 4′ 6 ” double beds; 1x 4′ double bed. Open plan sea facing lounge/diner with TV; DVD player; books; games and DVD’s. 3 comfortable sofas. Duvet, pillows and bed linen provided. Please bring your own towels, if this is difficult for you we can provide towels for a small charge. Please ask for more information. Outside storage box with buckets and spades, beach chairs etc. Outside water tap, washing line, picnic bench. Unfortunately we do not permit pets in the chalet. Other things to note Please note bedlinen is provided but towels are not. If you require towels these can be provided at a small additional cost. Just let us know if you require them. Please also note that due to Hillcrest being in an elevated position the property may not be suitable for people with reduced mobility. However there is a point of easier access if required. Please do contact for more information. Due to the coastal location of the chalet the humidity can be high and the air is salty. As such some fittings and fixtures around the property are susceptible to rust. This includes areas around the outside of the fridge and oven. You might notice there are small dehumidifiers in each room to help reduce the moisture in the air. Please note this is common for all properties in the area and one of the small downsides to being minutes from the sea! To help reduce humidity and condensation please can you open the window in the bathroom when showering. Please ensure all windows and heaters are turned off when leaving the property. Sand does and will get into the property. To help reduce the amount that gets in there is an outside tap for washing sandy toes, wetsuits and boards. Our lovely cleaners are very experienced with cleaning these beach chalets and their sandy nuances, but we'd appreciate your help in maintaining the cleanliness.
