Welcome to the Black Cabin. Your little private haven in the middle of the woods. The cabin was built in 1940 and has served as a family retreat until now. The cabin offers a modern trim with a cottage feel. Try our outdoor shower situated in the remnants of giant red wood. Explore the town and come back to a quiet and secluded refuge. Kick back and relax, no need to make the beds or finish the dishes, enjoy every min of the house because it’s fully serviced after every stay. Guest access The whole property is available for your stay and relaxation. We have some lawn chairs stored in a closet just outside the back door. Other things to note The cabin does have a wood burning stove, but we ask guests not to use it and use the space heaters instead for heating purposes. We provide a space heater but bringing your personal space heater is recommended during the chilly months. We provide bedding for the 2 Queen beds, if more is needed. Please make a request as soon as possible and we will do our best to accommodate. In addition to the steps at the front door, the kitchen has a sunken floor. Take extra care coming and going from the kitchen.
