Description
The village of Milton Abbas is steeped in history dating back to the 18th century. It's a beautiful setting in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Great location for all that Dorset has to offer. The space The Courtyard Room is within a separate annexe, not attached to the cottage, so guests can come and go as they wish. The private WC within the annexe is for guests only. There is no shower or bath within this space, however, the shower, just a few steps away within the main house, is available for guests' use. Tea/coffee making facilities are provided in the room. Guest access Courtyard room and adjoining toilet available solely for guests. Access to the garden decking area is possible with views over the neighbouring thatched roofs. Just talk to the hosts for access - it's well worth a look! During your stay We will welcome you to hand over keys and point out important information. We are available throughout stays for advice/assistance if needed. We can interact as much or as little as guests need. You might like to pop into Louise's Art Studio, also in the annex, to peruse her creative works such as pen and watercolor miniatures of Milton Abbas and Dorset plus many other items which might be of interest at Strawberry Cottage Studio. Other things to note As the village is set in a valley, mobile phone signals can vary. We find EE the most reliable at receiving 4G when outside, however, we use wifi calling inside. Our art studio can be open for you to visit during your stay. Louise creates, displays and sells a variety of art including pen and watercolour paintings of the local area. Commissions are welcome - Louise's paintings have been sent across the world to Australia, USA, Spain, Germany and Sweden as a beautiful momento of people's stays here in Dorset.
