Come experience everything the Maine woods has to offer! This cabin has direct access to the Northern Maine ATV/Snowmobile trails, as well as local companies that provide rental services for them. Some of the best fishing can be accessed by this lake, as well as the Long Lake fishing derby in the winter. Enjoy the sunsets all year round from the front porch, or by the fire pit overlooking the lake in the warmer months. This cabin has MUCH to offer all year round, come check it out! The space This cabin was lovingly created from an original one room cabin (the middle room) and then was added on to all the way around. It's design is quirky but is efficient :) We do not have air conditioning at the cabin but do provide fans, and encourage opening windows in the evening when the air is cooler during the summer months. Because of the lay out we were encouraged from our local heating specialist to instal 2 propane Ranaii heaters for comfort in the winter months. We use these, along with the propane fireplace in the living room to heat the camp. We do turn the heat down when no one is there, and recommend renters to turn down before they leave also. Once you arrive and during your stay there is NO cap on the thermostat and it does heat rather efficiently. The water at the cabin is lake drawn and we encourage you to bring your own bottled for drinking and cooking needs. We have only owned the cabin for two years and are continuing to upgrade features every year, our next big feat will be installing a dock! We provide 2 kayaks for your recreating, and have plenty of chairs to use along the beach as well as a pick-nick table. We love watching the sunset from the front porch ALL year round and hope you come and enjoy yourself at our beloved family camp.
