The bathroom is fitted with a walk-in shower. The house has a screened porch to enjoy the outdoors without the annoying bugs. The porch is also a convenient shelter from the snow in the wintertime. Although the wood-burning stove is decorative only, a fire pit is conveniently located steps from the front door. Staying at the house provides access to hike the surrounding forest and cool off in the streams on the property. Ski-in//out access is available to the Catamount Trail in the winter, as it traverses the property. The house is one of three that are set in a forested area of a large property that contains multiple streams and access to the Catamount Trail. It is minutes to Green River Reservoir State Park and Elmore Lake. In the winter, great skiing is located nearby in Stowe, Craftsbury Outdoor Center, or Jay Peak. Located on a hill above the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, we can transport you and your bike(s) if you don't want to deal with the incline.
