Stylish 1920s historic home one and a half blocks from the adorable downtown Graham. Short walk to breweries, restaurants, coffee shops and minutes from Elon University, Labcorp and Tanger Outlets. Our home is a great central location situated between Chapel Hill and Greensboro and minutes from hiking and kayaking locations on the Haw River. Plush linens, mattresses, and stocked with amazing bath soaps. This is the perfect location for exploring North Carolina’s Piedmont region! The space Our home is an updated historic home from the early 1900s. It boasts many original details such as original hardwood floors and clawfoot tubs with modern furnishings and renovated bathrooms and kitchen. The Bluebird Bungalow is a short walk from many of our local favorites: Press Coffee + Crepes, Forgotten Road Ales, Fitzgerald and Faulkner cocktail bar, Little Brother Brewing, Little Oblivion Brewing, Whit’s Frozen Custard, Powercade Arcade and Bar, Smokehouse at Steve’s, and The Graham Cinema, among others. A central location just off the interstate, the bungalow is minutes from Elon University (7 miles), downtown Burlington, Saxapahaw River Mill Village, Labcorp and the Tanger Outlets. The Graham Mill, a local wedding and event venue, is also just a short walk away! Our home is about 30 minutes from Greensboro, Durham and Chapel Hill, under an hour to Raleigh, 20 minutes to Hillsborough and 15 minutes to Mebane. Enjoy hiking on the Haw River Trail or going on a kayaking tour of the Haw River. If traveling with kids, the Alamance Children’s Museum is a few blocks away and the Burlington City Park is a great spot with a playground, carousel, train rides, and a splash park for summer. The North Carolina Zoo is just one hour away. Close to 4 different medical centers. The home is 2,500 sq ft with 4 large bedrooms and one small bedroom. The downstairs master bedroom has a private half bath. Our newly renovated large first floor bathroom features a luxury walk-in shower and freestanding refurbished original claw foot tub. Our backyard features a fully fenced backyard, covered back porch with a dining table, perfect for enjoying a morning coffee or dinner with friends or family, and a picnic table. Kitchen is well-equipped for cooking meals, the laundry room is accessible to guests, and the living room has a 50 inch smart TV with streaming services perfect for watching movies or games and WIFi should you need to work from our home. We also provide Counter Culture coffee, locally roasted in Durham, NC, for our guests! Other things to note Our home is situated on a quiet street. Please be respectful of our lovely neighbors and keep noise to a minimum. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTIES, loud music or anything that would be disruptive to our community. Park in our driveway or on the street directly in front of our home. QUIET HOURS after 9 pm. We give guests a new keypad code for their stay, so Check-in is simple and easy. Please take off shoes in our home to keep it very clean. Our home is over 100 years old, so some of the floors in the hallway are a little uneven. It’s typical of older homes! :) CLEANING FEE: So why do we have a cleaning fee? It takes a ton of time for our cleaners to clean our entire 2,500 sq ft home. The cleaning fee also includes the time it takes for them to wash, dry and fold all bed and bath linens, restock toiletries, paper products, coffee, put up dishes left in the dishwasher, clean any potential spots left on rugs from guests and anything else needed to provide an awesome stay for our guests!
