The Young’s - Northern Indiana

Welcome to our childhood home, where we stay when relaxing in the area. You'll be less than 9 minutes from Hard Rock Casino/Concerts and Gary/Chicago Airport and less than 20 minutes from BP Refinery and Indiana Dunes Park. Our completely remodeled home is on a quiet street surrounded by woods, where we played as youngsters. Our 3-bedroom residence, with original hardwood floors, has active RING doorbell devices at both doors, side house cameras, and a Minut (party) sensor for added safety. The space The basement, with a washer and dryer and half bath, is for your use. We also have new backyard amenities, including a picnic table and the option to complete Your Stay With a BBQ grill and/or Firepit services: Incidental Fee, $20 plus Charcoal for BBQ grill, $10 per 12lb bag Enviro-Log for Firepit, $5 per log Gratis: BBQ utensils, BBQ Grill Brush, and Ash Bucket Use of EV, $20 per week Use of garage, $20 per stay Guest access The basement, with washer and dryer and half bath, and two-car garage with EV charging are also available. Large backyard. Other things to note We know and grew up with our neighbors; therefore, we do NOT allow gatherings, events, or parties. Residents within 30 miles are not allowed, nor are third-party bookings or pets. Prior reviews are required for booking. Dedicated workspace - we use the dining room table mostly, but with a TV that swivels from the dining room into the living room with a couch and coffee table, we use that room, too. No Pets Present ID on Check-in A RING doorbell/camera is at the front and the back doors, on the most wooded side of the house, at at the garage door A noise-decibel monitor is on site. In addition to being 20 minutes from the Indiana Dunes National Park, we are just 7 minutes from the Ivanhoe and Ivanhoe South Nature Preserves on Gary's wonderfully wooded west side.
