This is your central location to nearby cities & access to outdoor rec in the Green Mountains! The best of Essex is only minutes away, w/ nearby restaurants, breweries, wine bar, movies, shopping & more. The space With 900 sq.ft, 7 foot ceilings and large windows, this is not your typical basement - it feels just like an open and inviting apartment. Enter the unit from the garage. There's plenty of space to store you coats and shoes in the mudroom. A full bathroom is off the mudroom, stocked with linens, shampoo, conditioner, and liquid soaps. Down the hall is the bedroom with a queen sized bed, closet with hangers, a small dresser and nightstand. From the hall, step into the open living room/kitchenette area. The kitchenette features a microwave, small toaster oven, full sized fridge, Keurig, electric tea kettle, basic silverware, plates, bowls, wine glasses, mugs and cups. There is a dining space overlooking the living room. The spacious living room has a twin daybed, small desk, full sofa, and a 45" Roku TV with a designated guest account for Netflix. Complimentary coffee, creamer, raw sugar, and tea is provided. The outdoor patio is furnished with some chairs from April - early November and enjoys seasonal flowers from May - September. This home was built in the 1970's, and features many updates - but also maintains some older charm - such as some older flooring and the bedroom, living room and mudroom do not have overhead lights - although there are plenty of lamps throughout the space. Off street parking is available for 1 vehicle. Guest access This is a private, first floor/basement suite, in a split level house. No stairs! However, it is not wheelchair accessible as the doorways are not wide enough. Access to the unit is from the attached garage. There is a locked linen closet and locked workout room. My partner and I live in a separate unit on the second floor. Some light noise may transfer, but we do our best to keep a quiet household. There is a quiet long term tenant, who lives in a studio apartment, above the garage.
