Beautiful Modern Eco Pod in Secluded Garden

The pod is a stand-alone structure in our beautiful, large garden surrounded by ancient trees with immediate access to endless walks around this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Chiltern Hills. It was built in 2022 and is a modern classic design featuring sustainable materials and a ‘living roof’. The space 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom (with walk in shower, toilet and sink) and a large lounge area equipped with a sofa, coffee table, desk, a mini fridge, TV, and tea and coffee making facilities. Books and board games are also available on request. Guest access You will have exclusive use of the pod for the duration of your stay. The pod is situated in our garden but completely separate from the main house. You are free to use the full extent of the garden, from which you can access all the amazing Chiltern Hills and woodland walks straight from a stile at the bottom of the garden. Other things to note The pod is a short 5 minute walk from the grounds of Hampden House which dates back to before the Norman conquest in 1066. There is also a local pub, the Hampden Arms, next to the local Great Hampden village cricket pitch - both around a 20 minute walk away across the fields. Also Oxmoor Farm is a 15 min walk, which does 'feasts' and has a pizza restaurant and is also a lovely spot. The nearest shops are in Prestwood which is about a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive from the pod and has a post office, pharmacy, supermarket, dry cleaner, butcher, pub and other local amenities. Well behaved pets are welcome, subject to an additional cleaning fee. We have a very friendly and well socialised 4 year old Hungarian Vizlsa Gigi who loves having visitors to stay.
