Sittin’ On Bay is a cozy home within walking distance of downtown Glens Falls. There is a Cumberland Farms a block away for quick food items. Glens Falls has numerous wonderful restaurants and there is a guidebook within this listing with many local suggestions. There are art galleries, LARAC, The Hyde and the Shirt Factory. Live music and theatre is available at the Wood Theatre, the Park Theatre and Strand Theatre. We are 20 minutes from Lake George and Saratoga. The space This is a two-story house with an open floor plan. The house can accommodate 6 people and no more than that. There is plenty of seating (hence the name!) for watching TV, eating and playing games. There is a cabinet housing many board games for your enjoyment. The TV has basic cable. The newly installed kitchen is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, pots/pans & utensils. Off the kitchen there is a full size washer/dryer available for you. Upstairs there are three bedrooms and two full bathrooms. There are many windows creating a bright, cheery space. However, they all have darkening blinds for privacy. The driveway is large with ample parking. There is a table for outdoor dining that seats 6 people and another outdoor seating area in the back. There is a gas grill with all the utensils and outdoor dishes. The front porch is open and welcoming if you would like to sit outside and relax. There are many closets throughout the house and dressers in the bedrooms to meet all your storage needs. Guest access The entire two-story house is for your use. The driveway is also for you. There is one outdoor patio with a table for 6 and another patio with seating in nice weather. Other things to note Note: Airbnb has started to collect the 4% NY state sales tax and 3% Warren county sales tax for your stay for all booking made after March 15, 2025. This will be called “Occupancy Tax” on the website and the app. Warren County also charges a 4% occupancy tax which Airbnb will start to collect on future bookings labeled “Property Use Tax”. For bookings made prior to July 8, 2025, I will need to collect the Warren County occupancy tax by way of an email from Airbnb the day that you check in.
