The Casuzza al Duomo is a panoramic place, located in the heart of the historic center of Agrigento, a few steps from its Cathedral! The space The Casuzza al Duomo is a project designed in continuity with that of the 'Casuzza di Girgenti', also curated by the architect Vincenzo Castelli. It's a panoramic and bright place that can accommodate up to 2 people and is located in the heart of the historic center of Agrigento, the ancient one 'Girgenti', a few steps from its Cathedral! It's a large studio apartment which offers, from the balcony on three sides and from the small terrace, covered by a wooden roof, a splendid view of the cathedral, the sea and the Valley of the Temples. It's particularly suitable for those who empathize with art due to the presence of design objects and the questionable irreverence of works such as those of Giuseppe Veneziano. Find us on casuzzadigirgenti A double flight of stairs [31 steps] leads to a large, bright and panoramic independent studio apartment. There is a large double bedroom with balcony, non-divisible King Size bed making it particularly suitable for a couple or friends or family for whom sleeping together is not a problem! Memory foam mattress and pillows, with hypoallergenic, fresh and anti-mite mattress cover. It's air conditioned, equipped with a table, clothes hanger, mirrors and Smart TV. The air conditioner is a heat pump and is therefore able to combine the cooling and heating functions. In order to limit carbon dioxide emissions and safeguard the environment, when leaving the 'Casuzza', the air conditioner, if turned on, will turn off and only the courtesy lights and sockets for charging your devices will be activated. There is a food corner with a two-burner hob, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and microwave. The bathroom is equipped with a large shower [Shower tray: 140×90], bidet, hairdryer, shower cap and essentials. High speed optical fiber (Free Wi-Fi) throughout Casuzza. Guest access You will have the entire studio apartment at your disposal with a large balcony on three sides and a small panoramic terrace with the exception of a small storage room for private use. At 'Casuzza' you will find comfort and attention to detail to guarantee a pleasant stay in the "most beautiful City of Mortals"... Other things to note La Casuzza al Duomo is located in a hilly area and to access it you have to walk down short, wide stairs; it's place in the heart of the historic center of Agrigento, which is located on a hill overlooking the Valley of the Temples and the Sea, which presents a typically Arab urban structure among the most authentic and best preserved in Sicily. Therefore it's a place that I recommend to those who are fascinated by the typical narrow alleys, the courtyards, the many up and down stairs [not suitable for those with walking problems] and numerous and vital little squares where you can feel a return to the past, to the genuine. Outside, in the courtyard below you are likely to encounter cats, mostly dozing! Upon arrival, an identity document of all guests will be required for registration in accordance with the law. Only registered guests are allowed in the Casuzza. Upon check-in, cash payment of the tourist tax will be required: €1.00 per day and per person (for the first 4 days). There is no daily cleaning service but in the Studio you will find everything you need for cleaning. For stays longer than a week, cleaning of the entire apartment with change of sheets and towels is provided, in agreement with the guest and free of charge. There is no washing machine.
