The space The Beachy Tortuguita is located in the charming and peaceful beach resort neighborhood of Villas del Faro in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. The community is gated with 24/7 security. This sea turtle-themed garden apartment offers an inviting living space that is accessed by two sets of stairs. There are three bedrooms (a king, queen and twin bed) and two bathrooms (a master bathroom and hallway bathroom), providing ample space for guests. The presence of air conditioning and ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living room ensures a pleasant temperature and comfortable environment. Great for multiple couples or a family. Our apartment is ideal for disconnecting from the hustle and bustle, but if you choose to work, there is a desk and office chair available; as well as high speed wireless internet. Wifi extenders allow for internet access throughout the apartment. There are also three Roku smart TVs (one in in the living room, one in the master bedroom, and one in the queen bedroom), for your enjoyment. As you enter, you'll be greeted by a spacious living room bathed in natural light. The living room serves as a central gathering area with access to the patio, perfect for relaxation and socializing. The sleeping sofa can easily be transformed from a comfortable seating area during the day to a bed at night (for a kid or a toddler). Adjacent to the living room is a cozy dining area, where you can enjoy meals with family and friends. We also have a well-equipped kitchen, complete with appliances, ample countertop space, and tools so you can enjoy preparing meals at home. Additionally, this garden apartment includes a laundry area, equipped with a washer and dryer. The inclusion of this essential amenity allows for easy and convenient cleaning of clothes and linens, you will just need laundry detergent. Step outside the apartment, and you'll discover a breathtaking view of the ocean, Punta Tuna Natural Reserve, and the historical Lighthouse, providing a peaceful sanctuary where you can relax and enjoy the tropical ambiance. The garden offers a tranquil escape, with adequate seating, a few tropical plants and coffee table, ideal for morning tea, gatherings with loved ones, the playing of outdoor games, or an evening glass of wine. The apartment comes highly recommended for five guests. However, if you also have a kid or a toddler that can sleep on the sleeping sofa located at living room, the Beachy Tortuguita can comfortably sleep a total of six guests. Guest access Upon arrival to the Beachy Tortuguita, you will have exclusive access to the entire apartment. You can make yourself at home and utilize all the amenities provided to meet your needs during your stay. In addition to the apartment, as a guest of the Beachy Tortuguita, you will also have access to the basketball court, tennis court, and the main pool located next to the entrance of Villas del Faro, so that you can create lasting memories in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. The pool offers a refreshing, serene, and inviting atmosphere. You can take a quick dip, soak up the warm Puerto Rican sunshine in a chaise lounge, cool off with a long swim or just socialize with other residents and guests. Please note that specific pool/sports courts rules and regulations apply, and it's important to follow them for the safety and enjoyment of all guests. These guidelines are typically provided upon check-in and displayed in the pool area for your convenience. Other things to note -Park only in the assigned parking spots, which are designated with the numbers #145 and #146 - You will be permitted to utilize the Gazebo del Mar, which is the larger/main pool located near the security booth and basketball court, where you enter the complex. -Other pools around the neighborhood are for the exclusive use of owners. - The pool closes at 10pm. - We highly recommend this apartment for a maximum of 5 guests, but if you are a group of 6 that includes a child an air mattress or the sleeping sofa can be used. -No pets, sorry. -No lifeguards in pools or beach. - There is no elevator. Therefore, two sets of stairs are required to be used to obtain access to the apartment. - This apartment is located in the southeastern portion of Puerto Rico. Renting or having a car is required to move around and explore the east coast. - This is a coastal town, but not a tourist town. It is an excellent escape from the busy life of the city. - Located in an excellent location if you desire to explore the east and/or south of Puerto Rico. Please check-out our guidebook for all of our recommendations. -As we have security on premises 24/7, a registration form will need to be completed to obtain entry. The form will be provided after booking and in advance of your stay. The form requires a list of all guests that will be staying. We must submit this form to security at least 48 hours in advance of your stay, otherwise a fine is incurred. Therefore, failure to complete the form timely will result in a $100 fee. No visitors will be allowed except those that pre-registered, so please list everyone.
