Beachy Tortuguita: Pool and Nature Preserve

This coastal haven is super comfy with air conditioning, and you’ll get to soak up the stunning turquoise Caribbean Sea and the historic Punta Tuna Natural Reserve Lighthouse. The backyard is a dream—perfect for watching the sun rise, gazing at the stars, and making unforgettable memories with family and friends. The space The Beachy Tortuguita is a sea-turtle–themed garden apartment in the peaceful, gated Villas del Faro community in Maunabo, Puerto Rico. With 24/7 security and lush surroundings, it’s a tranquil place to call your temporary island home. Please note: this apartment, like all garden units and penthouses in this community, require navigating two sets of stairs. There are no elevators. The apartment has three bedrooms (king, queen, and twin) and two bathrooms. It’s ideal for five guests—couples or families—but can accommodate a sixth child on the living room sofa bed. Each bedroom and the living room have air conditioning and ceiling fans. Though perfect for unplugging, the unit also includes a desk, office chair, and high-speed Wi-Fi. Three Roku smart TVs (in the living room, master, queen bedroom) are available for entertainment. The bright living room opens to a patio and connects to a cozy dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. A washer and dryer are also provided. Outside, enjoy views of the ocean, Punta Tuna Natural Reserve, and the historic lighthouse. The garden offers ample seating, tropical plants, and a coffee table—ideal for morning tea, outdoor games, or an evening sangria. Guest access Upon arrival, you’ll have exclusive access to the entire apartment and all its amenities. You are welcome to enjoy the community basketball court, tennis court, and the main pool near the Villas del Faro entrance. The pool area offers a refreshing spot to swim, relax in the sun, or socialize with other guests. Please note that pool and sports court rules must be followed for everyone’s safety and enjoyment. These guidelines are usually provided at check-in and are also posted in the pool area. Other things to note -Park only in the assigned parking spots, which are designated with the numbers #145 and #146 - You will be permitted to utilize the Gazebo del Mar, which is the larger/main pool located near the security booth and basketball court, where you enter the complex. -Other pools around the neighborhood are for the exclusive use of owners. - The pool closes at 10pm. - We highly recommend this apartment for a maximum of 5 guests, but if you are a group of 6 that includes a child an air mattress or the sleeping sofa can be used. -No pets, sorry. - There are no lifeguards at the pools or nearby beaches. - There is no elevator. Therefore, two sets of stairs are required to be used to obtain access to the apartment. Please always use hand rails. - This apartment is located in the southeastern portion of Puerto Rico, so it is an excellent location for exploring the east and/or south of Puerto Rico. However, renting or having a car is required to move around and explore the east coast. - This is a coastal town, but not a tourist town. It is an excellent escape from the busy life of the city. Please check-out our guidebook for all of our recommendations. -As we have security on premises 24/7, a registration form will need to be completed to obtain entry. The form will be provided after booking and in advance of your stay. The form requires a list of all guests that will be staying. We must submit this form to security at least 48 hours in advance of your stay, otherwise a fine is incurred. Therefore, failure to complete the form timely will result in a $100 fee. No visitors will be allowed except those that pre-registered, so please list everyone.
