The Ti Brico bungalow is located in a peaceful neighborhood of Gros Islet that offers a great opportunity to mix into village life. On the porch is where you can have some of your best experiences on the island; exchange greetings with folks passing by, enjoy the cool breeze and the view of the sea while dining at the outdoor table. A 1 minute walk to the bus stop, 3 minutes to the Friday Night Street Party, 5 minutes to the highway, 15 minutes to Landings Beach, and 30 minutes to Pigeon Point. This cozy house is ideally suited for one or two persons. *** A twin bed and air conditioning can be added to the office for an additional fee. Enter three guests on the reservation for this option.*** The smart TVs have Netflix, Disney+, Samsung TV Plus, Plex, Filmrise and YouTube streaming services (cable TV is not offered). The living room is a comfortably furnished area to relax and read or watch TV, and you can enjoy meals on the counter height dining table and stools. The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator with freezer, four-burner gas cooktop, large mini-oven, microwave, Instant Pot pressure cooker, tea and coffee machines, cooking utensils, cookware, dishes, glasses, cutlery and flatware. In the bedroom is a king size bed (76 in. W x 80 in. L/193 cm. W x 203 cm. L), dresser, side tables with lamps, ceiling fan, air conditioner, and TV. The office has a fold-down desk, office chair, and a monitor/TV, and laundry area with a washer, spin dryer, iron, and ironing board. The bathroom has a rain shower, shelves, cabinets and is stocked with towels and toiletries. There are ceiling fans in all rooms except the bathroom. The porch has a comfortable bench and an outdoor table with stools. The garden has fruit trees and tropical plants. Guests will have access to the interior of the house (except any areas that are locked), the porch and front yard area. Access to the backyard is restricted because there is a resident who lives in the apartment below the house. We are usually onsite and available to assist guests with their questions, and will try to help them coordinate activities. When we are unavailable, we will ensure there is someone available to help guests. Our goal is for you to enjoy your stay at a self-guided pace. The bus stop to catch the 1A Gros Islet/Castries bus is just two blocks from the bungalow on the corner in front of the Gros Islet Primary School across from the Gros Islet Resource Center. Key things to note & house rules: - You must provide us your travel details and estimated arrival time when requested. Failure to do so may result in delayed check-in and access to the house. - At check-in, IDs will be checked and they must be valid. - Only registered guests are allowed to stay in the house. A maximum of two visitors are permitted. - No smoking of anything or illicit drug usage is allowed in the house or on the property grounds. The police will be called if illegal drug or alcohol use occurs. - There is no housekeeping service, and guest must clean up after themselves during a stay (cleaning supplies are provided). - There is a resident in the apartment below the bungalow and facing the backyard below the house. They will pass by the bungalow. - There are security cameras on the four corners of the roof and a doorbell camera with a microphone at the front door. They monitor the property's grounds. - The house is wired only for 220 volt electricity, including the outlets with universal sockets. Be sure that you electronics can accept this voltage. - There are times that the electricity company may have planned and unscheduled service interruptions. - There are periods when the water company interrupts service and water will be supplied by a water storage tank located behind the bungalow. During extended periods of water service interruptions, water conservation measures may be required. - Dogs, horses and chickens often roam freely in the neighborhood and throughout St. Lucia. ***Long-term stays require a $300 or $350 USD refundable deposit paid via Airbnb's Resolution Center, and guests pay for actual electricity usage at the current Lucelec rates (the local utility company).***
