The space Kellyran Country House seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern amenities, offering a unique and comfortable getaway experience for couples and solo explorers. Recently renovated, our gorgeous home is a sanctuary just waiting for you to discover. Our stunning property has amazing views of Mt Gellibrand and beyond from nearly every window. The trees surrounding the property act as your sentinels enveloping you in their protection and beauty, which in turn offers full privacy and peace. It’s like one big hug from nature! The house was lovingly built with exposed beams, cathedral ceilings and timber flooring throughout the home. A warm and cosy country charm that you won’t want to leave. The moment you walk through the beautifully crafted barn doors, you will be greeted by the most breathtaking open plan living/dining/kitchen area that is perfect for reconnecting and relaxing. The living areas are spacious and airy, with plenty of natural light flowing throughout. The kitchen is a chef's dream, with top-of-the-line appliances, such as the iconic Belling "Mini Richmond" dual fuel double oven cooker, all brand new appliances TV, fridge, inverter smart microwave, gas hot plates, toaster, kettle, blender and a Nespresso coffee maker. There is a large table and chairs on the deck where you can sip your favourite drink at sunset as well as cushioned adirondack chairs to soak up the afternoon sun with the views and your favourite book. You will also enjoy superfast NBN and a Smart TV to chill out with a movie. The beautifully furnished bedroom comprises a queen size bed with king size down duvet and French linen bedding. The room has built in robes and unique barn doors. Also included to use while you are with us are beautiful quality ‘Kip n Co’ Turkish towels and Prija toiletries. Their shampoo/conditioner/body wash & moisturiser are synonymous with Italian elegance. Prija has been exclusively handcrafted in Italy with the highest quality ingredients. They are 100% vegan, the formulas are free of any animal products, GMOs, Petrolatum, BHT and Phenoxyethanol. Prija only uses 100% recycled PET bottles and dispensers. To help keep you warm and cosy, there is a newly installed Kelvinator 9.0kW split system reverse cycle heater/air conditioner. The Nectre wood fire heater provides additional warmth and comfort during the colder months if you feel inclined. The house also includes eco design features such as double glazed windows, solar and wood fire hot water ensuring your comfort is always taken care of. Depending on the season, your morning coffees will be had sitting on the large, covered deck area with the most spectacular views over the surrounding hilltops as far as the eye can see. From sunrise to sunset, you will have views to relax and watch over with the property being a haven for wildlife, including koalas, wallabies, and dozens of bird species, such as blue fairy wrens and pink and orange robins, and last but not least, the beautiful laugh of the kookaburra that can be heard as you wake. Our property also boasts a horticulturalist designed English Garden with meandering paths that lead to a wisteria wrapped pergola situated on the fully accessible five acres of lush grounds. The property includes two tree fern-lined gullies with streams (one seasonal), and an established apple orchard that you can meander around at your leisure. The property also boasts an 80 metre long driveway lined with oaks, liquid ambers and chestnuts providing absolute privacy from the quiet country road. The property is conveniently located approximately 200kms from Melbourne, under 40 minutes from Colac, 5 minutes to good coffee at the local Beech Forest Art Reach gallery and café, and exceptional meals and cold beer at the Beechy Pub. Just over 10 minutes away you also have Lavers Hill, where you can find fine dining at The Perch, good times at the local pub, and more food at the café and general store. You will also find a general store and newly opened pub only 15 minutes away to the north of you in Gellibrand.
