Description
The Farmhouse is a restored 1940's fruit pickers rest. Every piece of the house tells a story - the large sash windows, the antique bank doors, or the original clawfoot bathtub. Even the lights above the dining table were once work lights from the fruit packing shed. What does a trip to the Farmhouse look like? It's a wine by the fire. It's a well earned shower. It's crisp linens with the smell of fresh bread or the plum harvest jam in the kitchen. It is the perfect place to unwind The space The Farmhouse is perched on top of the valley looking down over the dams. It is surrounded by protected bushland and the closest neighbour is nowhere to be seen. You will have free roam to explore our orchard, which contains thousands of plum and pear trees - please help yourself if the fruit is ripe! Sweeping sash windows welcome the morning sun into each bedroom - watch the day arrive while buried under quality linens. The bathrooms are stocked with bath sheets, and a curated selection of skincare formulations. The country kitchen has everything you need to cook a meal if you prefer to stay in, as well a grill/grate should you wish to cook over the impressive 2+ tonne steel fire pit outside (fire season permitting). In the winter months, the extra large fireplace warms the house. You will arrive to kindling and wood stocked. If you're particularly lucky, you might find yourself on the couch, listening to the rain fall on the colourbond roof with the fire roaring in the background. The garage has undercover parking for two vehicles, and plenty of additional parking adjacent. Guest access You will have full access to the farmhouse and the orchard. You will have restricted access to all other areas of the farm, please seek permission and guidance from the land owner before entering paddocks or the barn.
