Room with a view

I have a beautiful large bedroom available with wonderful views across the valley. There is also a second small double bedroom which can be found/booked on my other listing House on The Hill. My main objective when hosting is to make my guests feel as relaxed as possible and give them a welcoming and comfortable stay. I make myself scarce but am always on hand to answer any questions or have a glass of wine and a chat! I have a very friendly shi-poo called Bertie. The space I live in a picturesque Victorian Villa with spectacular views across the Golden Valley. On arrival you enter through the front door and the private dining room is down the hall on the left. It has a large dining table with enough seating for 8 people and two comfy armchairs overlooking the valley. This is where guests choose to work if required. The wifi is excellent throughout the house. The kitchen is straight ahead with a door to the patio garden and the elevated back garden which is a wonderful sun trap for evening drinks. The kitchen has everything you may need : an electric oven/hob, a dishwasher, washing machine, Nespresso coffee machine, milk frother, toaster, microwave, juicer, hand mixer, full sized mixer, loads of crockery and cutlery, cooking utensils, etc. Stairs by the front door lead to the 1st floor where you will find the bathroom and bedrooms. The guest bedroom is at the front of the house and is wonderfully bright due to the large sash windows and southern facing aspect. The bedroom has a double bed which is extremely comfortable, the sheets are all 100% cotton with king size feather duvet and pillows. There is a wardrobe with plenty of hangers, two bedside tables with good sized drawers and bedside lamps. It is fully carpeted. Towels are also 100% cotton and beach/swimming towels can be provided. Guest access Guests have access to the kitchen and dining room as well as the garden. During your stay I’m around most of the time but if not I have my mobile with me. Other things to note You’ll be given a key to come and go as you like.
