If sandcastles and sun bathing are more your style, Rockport Beach is just a 15 minute drive, or hop on the Ferry 10 minutes away and head to Port Aransas Island for the day. Texans love their HEB and you'll find one just 2 minutes from the house. The space Located in the heart of Aransas Pass, this charming 1950's Cape Cod style home sleeps 10 guests comfortably. Start your morning with a cup of coffee on our screened in porch and listen to the peaceful coastal birds singing. Our kitchen is fully stocked to prepare your family meals with a large formal dining room that seats 6-8. In the back yard you'll find ample space for yard games or a place to sit around the firepit and soak in the day. After a long day unwind on the large sectional in the living room main floor and enjoy your favorite show on the smart TV with multiple streaming services. On the 3rd floor there is an additional smart TV perfect for movie night for the kids. ***Snow birds welcome! Ask about our monthly off season specials! *** Other things to note Please read before booking: Harbor Headquarters is a charming 70-year-old coastal home, and with that comes some quirks and realities. • Coastal environment: Being near the water, insects are part of life. While we have routine professional pest control and additional exterior mosquito/yard treatments, no home on the Texas coast can be guaranteed to be completely bug-free. Occasionally, an insect may find its way inside. • Air conditioning: The home is equipped with 5 tons of HVAC, which is properly maintained and performs well. However, during periods of extreme South Texas heat (heat indexes exceeding 100°F+), it is not realistic for any older home to maintain 70°F indoors. During the hottest part of the day, indoor temperatures around 75–77°F are considered normal, and the home cools more effectively as outdoor temperatures drop. • Real estate showings: The property is currently listed for sale. While we make every effort to avoid interruptions, there may be occasions where we request access for a buyer showing, appraisal, inspection, or other real estate-related activity. We will always provide as much advance notice as possible and work with you to minimize any inconvenience. *Lawn/pest maintenance: Exterior vendors may visit during your stay for scheduled maintenance. If any of these conditions would negatively impact your stay, this property may not be the best fit for your trip, and we encourage you to choose accommodations that better match your expectations.
