This private, above the garage, studio is perfectly located with a back entrance, full bathroom and kitchenette to act as your home away from home. The space This studio apartment is located above our attached garage and has its own entrance and exit. The queen size bed is tucked away in an open, studio style bedroom overlooking the living room. There is a full size bathroom with a shower. The living room has a comfy, exit large sectional sofa, desk and large flat screen T.V. The kitchenette has a dorm size fridge, toaster/toaster oven, microwave and a Keurig coffee maker with complimentary coffee. The guest suite has beautiful afternoon light and is a peaceful environment to curl up and read a book. Our home is located in a quiet neighborhood within walking distance to downtown Franklin where kids play in the streets and families take evening strolls. We have a lovely English garden style backyard with a patio and fire pit. If you are feeling frisky and feel like playing basketball or frisbee golf, we've got you covered. There is plenty of FREE parking available on the street. The studio has it's own air-conditioning/heating unit where you control the temperature. Guest access There is plenty of free street parking. If we are going to be out of town during your stay you can park in our driveway. We will let you know specifics when you check in. Children are always playing in the streets so please drive slowly as you come into our neighborhood. There are sidewalks linking our neighborhood to downtown Franklin. Other things to note Unless we are out of town, our family will be living our normal life in the main house. There is a locked shared door that you may hear a little noise as you go up the stairs to the above garage apartment. You will have your own private space with a private entrance. The studio is located above our garage so we may be opening and closing the garage door when we need something. You are welcome to enjoy our patio, our yard or any of our outside furniture.
