The space The Manor House is a 3,400 sq ft home with 4 bedrooms, 3 1/2 baths, 3 fireplaces, and lots of HGTV worthy rooms for gathering in small or large groups. Sleeps 7. The Carriage House is a 2,200 sq ft fun, remodel of a turn of the century stable. Sleeps 10. Lots of rooms, privacy, and upscale comfort are in both homes. The hot tub is available year round and will be running during the colder months, beautiful pool with multiple decks, 2 fire pits, 2 gas grills, lake, dock, and beachfront are also included. Our property is one-of-a-kind with a rich history. Both the Manor House and Carriage House were built in the early 1900's, and have ties to Chicago legend, Al Capone, as well as to one of the winery families in Michigan, Warner Vineyards. We know you will enjoy the charm and comforts of the Carriage House and delight in relaxing by the pool and the waterfront. Guest access All areas of the fenced 1.8 acres are yours to enjoy! We have 150 ft of lakefront and private dock, and a boat house. *** Please Note, Carriage House has 3 bedrooms on the upstairs 2nd level. The stairs going up to 2nd level are on STEEP INCLINE. Please note this for elderly guest and young kids. *** *** Note, due to heavy rains, the lake level is at a 30 year high. While the beach might be submerged this year, our lakefront is perfect for swimming. The private dock, lake side firepit and a boat house will still available and accessible for guests. *** The backyard is huge - perfect for volleyball, badminton, croquette, and family games of all types (all provided). The large yard is also the perfect spot for a tent for weddings or other large group gatherings. 3 Mile Lake is an all-sport lake with a public boat launch. Fishing, kayaking, canoeing, sailing, jet skiing, tubing - all can be enjoyed here. Boats (fishing & pontoons) are also available for rent at an area marine and delivered "to the door." Ask hosts for details. Other things to note Volleyball and bocce ball are available to guests at no cost. A public launch and private dock are available for your boat. Boat rentals are also available in the area. Lakes, vineyards, and orchards surround the property - such a beautiful place to relax, refresh, and experience fruit picking, great wine tasting, lakes and all the beauty of creation.
