Welcome to our charming Victorian-Era Cottage, constructed in 1878. We have lovingly restored this historic home, placing a strong emphasis on preserving its original character. The space With over a century of history, this cottage comes with a number of delightful quirks that add to its charm like creaky floorboards, wooden windows, even an occasional crooked room. The kitchen is a delightful space equipped with a drainboard sink, handmade countertops, and vintage appliances in efficient sizes. The primary bedroom offers a queen bed and a writing desk, the second features a double bed, and the third includes a twin—decorated with a one-of-a-kind paint-by-numbers collection. Relax on the double decker porch or in the clawfoot tub after a day of exploring the nearby Letchworth State Park, the charming village of Perry, or enjoying the lake, which is visible from the porch and approximately 430 feet from the front door. Take a step back in time and experience the magic of this meticulously restored Victorian-Era Cottage. Other things to note Belleclaire Cottage is located in the Silver Lake Institute, a community with over 150 years of history. As a private and close knit community, there are additional considerations to be aware of such as quiet hours, speed limits and parking regulations which are posted in the cottage. Please note, any activities which disrupt the peaceful nature of the Institute cannot be tolerated.
