Bring your family to this charming bungalow, within walking distance of beautiful Lake Waccamaw. Bring your own boat or jet ski to put in at the public boat access. The State park is only 4 miles away, and you’re staying in a perfect location to spend the day at the coast in NC (Carolina Beach, Wrightsville Beach, Southport, Kure Beach) or in SC at Myrtle Beach and all it has to offer. We have two kayaks you can rent. Golf cart and bike rentals are available nearby. The space The bungalow guesthouse has a downstairs studio-style main room, which includes two recliners, a queen bed, the kitchen, table & chairs, laundry and private bath. The upstairs bedroom has a queen bed and a day bed with a pull-out trundle bed (two twins). Bring your devices and stream using the 5G internet or use the Roku TV downstairs. The bungalow isn’t listed as handicap accessible because there is a step to get in. However, my Mom uses a walker and she can still navigate that step and the downstairs interior pretty easily. The shower has a 2” rim, so it’s easy to step in and out. * Note: The bungalow is not lakefront. It is within walking distance of the lake. The lake is accessed by private piers and our home is not on the lake, nor will you have access to a private pier. There are some public access points around the lake that you can use and Lakeshore Drive, which has beautiful scenery. Guest access Guests have access to the bungalow and parking area; parking & yard are shared with the main house. The bungalow has its own front patio with chairs, a fire pit and a gas grill that you are free to use.
