The Lodge at Poncha Springs - The Bird's Nest

The Bird's Nest is a cabin/apartment located onsite of an adorable boutique motor lodge that offers two bedrooms, a full living space and kitchen. It also has a creek right outside the back patio door offering a grill and al fresco dining set up for you and your crew. If you wander to the back courtyard, you will find a one of a kind fire pit to enjoy beneath the Colorado stars. The space The Bird's Nest is our cozy little bungalow that sleeps as many as eight. It is perfect for families, groups of friends, ski groups, hunters, etc. It comes with a lovely living area, with a flat screen TV, a dining area and a full kitchen. The bungalow offers two bedrooms. One bedroom sleeps up to 5 with a bunk bed with a full size bed and a twin and another bunk bed with two twin size beds. The second bedroom sleeps up to two in a queen bed and it's own air conditioner. Step outside via the backdoor and you will find yourself creek side as our property has a running creek that runs through it. The bungalow comes complete with a creek side gas grill and seating area. Adjacent to the garden courtyard, you can enjoy that as well and sit by the fire pit or enjoy your breakfast from the Flamingo outside with our families of birds and butterflies. The bungalow requires a two night stay. We do rent for one night with an additional cleaning fee, so feel free to enquire about that if can only stay one night. Guest access The Bird's Nest guests have access to the full Lodge grounds including our garden courtyard and gas firepits. The garden is lit up at night and offers a magical place to star gaze in the Colorado night sky. It also comes with it's own Weber gas grill and outdoor creek side seating.
