Stairway to Heaven Retreat

Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. This 2015 27' camper is located less than 10 miles from the town of Moorefield, WV. On a parcel of property that is used, but large enough you don't see the neighbors, traffic is minimal and there are no street lights to block your view of the starry night sky. This little piece of heaven is quiet and allows you to relax, take a trip into town for dinner and enjoy the evening by a campfire. This is a RV NOT a 5 star resort! The space 2015 27' camper with private master bedroom (linens provided master only), 1 set of bunk beds. The 10' slide out provides a dinette that folds down into double bed, a sofa folds down into double bed (pillows only provided for these areas). 3 burner gas range, toaster oven, small kurig style coffee maker, fridge and freezer. There is a flat screen tv with a dvd player and an HDMI cable with a selection of dvd movies. Outside fire ring, chairs, gas grill and picnic table. Charcoal grill can be left out upon request. Guest access The RV trailer is guest quarters to our Cabin that we are building and eventually will have a second cabin for guests as well. We are not there every week or weekend but our family lives close by and can assist with any last minute issues. You would be welcome to put up a tent for the kids if you like to give them that true outdoor experience. Although the property is 50+ acres we ask that you don't wander outside the orange paint. The roadway can be a challenge so it is important to note if you are driving a car to contact the host for directions as one of the gps routes is not optimal for vehicles low to the ground. If you plan to arrive late let us know so we can do the best we can to leave an outside light on…..it is off the beaten path and can be challenging to find, plan accordingly I can give you the best directions I can and directions to include when the pavement ends keep going….. Please follow the arrival instructions Other things to note Our cabin and projects are still under construction so there are times that the host or a contractor may be on site completing work. If that happens the work hours will be 8am til 7pm. Expect wildlife......and note we do not have control over them. They come and go as they please and can be anything from a 1/2 pound to 300 pounds. Some you will see during the day others you will just hear at night. We ask that you use caution and common sense on the property and respect the land and environment. We are not responsible for accidents, especially the ones you create. Please keep in mind this area has bugs…..it’s the woods, there is the occasional rodent….We do our best to control the vermin but the occasional vermin gets by….. We are still working on the building process….we keep things out of the way as much as possible and try to work quietly if guests are present. But please excuse our occasional mess. Redirect your attention to the first paragraph. The well water has a smell it is iron and sulfur, the water is filtered 2x we have zero control over this.
