Casa Toucano is located in the small lakeside village of NuevoArenal and is central to most of the major attractions of CostaRica.Many of the beaches and salt water fishing are within a little over an hour away. The most visited of any any tourist attraction in all of CostaRica is a short drive of 45 minutes to VolcanoArenal. Possibly second is MonteVerde home of the Rain Forest about one hour away.Our town is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Arenal and is the largest lake in CostaRica. The space Completly separate and autonomise from the main home is very large luxury apartment furnished with two queen beeds and Full kitchen: stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, all pots and pans, dishes silverware. Private bath with infinite hot water tub and shower dinning area , walk in closet, living room area with sofa and twin recliners. TV and free hi-speed internet. Private outside entrance with keyless lock. Garden view. Other things to note The Best Part At about 6 o'clock each morning I get a hot steaming cup of coffee go out and sit on the front porch and watch and listen to the forest wake up and come alive. The forest is only 75 feet across the lane from our front door. There are only about a gazillion different species of birds in Costa Rica and I think they may all try to gang up across the lane in the morning. Along with white faced monkeys, a local woodpecker, and a Howler monkey barking for a girlfriend. Once in awhile I see our namesake a -Toucan-sitting on the branch of our biggest tree.
