Choose your adventure at this Idaho getaway. Located in the small ranching town of Picabo, ID, you will be close to all things outdoor and away from most things people. A short drive to some of the best trout water in Idaho (or America) and on the migratory path for a huge variety of birds and animals. Also, close to Sun Valley, Craters of the Moon, hiking, cycling and rock hounding. The night is bright with stars as Picabo is located in one the top "dark sky corridors" in the country. The space The well appointed cabin (with one exception...no TV) is comfortable and quiet (no TV). The kitchen is modern and complete with a full array of pots and pans, microwave, dishwasher, range and fridge (there's a washer & dryer as well). The dining area has a table large enough for six. The living area is open with lots of room to get comfortable on leather sofas and big cozy chairs (no TV). The kitchen, dining and living areas are one large open space making for easy living and the vaulted ceilings give a spacious feel. The master bedroom is light and bright with a queen size bed. This bedroom faces to the east so you'll wake to the morning sun. There's a sliding glass door providing more light leading to a side patio. This bedroom has its own bathroom. The second bedroom is also light and bright with large windows and a queen size bed. The bathroom is next to this bedroom. The large fenced backyard is private with a feeling of seclusion created by a variety of mature trees and wood fence. The picnic table and Adirondack chairs are perfect for outdoor dining or just hanging out. In front, there's ample off-street parking available including space for a trailer or camper. Guest access Our guests will have complete access to the cabin, yard, and parking. Other things to note In Picabo, there is a general store with basic but minimal provisions and the nearest grocery store is about twenty minutes away in Bellevue. If convenient, bringing a cooler with some essentials can be helpful. Please plan accordingly. There is a grill at Picabo Angler serving good food for breakfast and lunch. If you need more action and civilization, the cabin is just 25 minutes to the town center of Hailey where there are lots of delicious local dining and drinking options. It's 40 minutes from the cabin to the Sun Valley Resort/Ketchum area where you'll find world-class shopping, many art galleries and a lively restaurant scene.
