in the countryside: pool, beach and history

Welcome to Maison sous les Pommiers! Nestled in the heart of a peaceful countryside, our house awaits families eager for adventure. Enjoy a game of pétanque while the kids have fun at the pool. Nearby, explore the many large sandy beaches, Mont St Michel, the Cité de la Mer in Cherbourg, the landing beaches… Each day is an adventure in itself, mixing historical discovery and family fun. The space The house is tastefully decorated with recovered or antique furniture. There is one bedroom on the ground floor with a queen size bed and one bedroom upstairs with 3 single beds. The bathroom is located on the ground floor near the double bedroom, it has a walk-in shower and it is possible to request a small baby bath. There is a desk area in the main room. Guest access Guests will have access to the pool (from May to October) and its vegetable gardens as well as the pétanque court. There is also a large outdoor area with a swing, and some bicycles for all ages are available as well as outdoor games (Molky, petanque balls, badminton rackets, ball and inflatable games for the pool...) Other things to note The house is adjoining with a retired couple who is family. They are very discreet and you will only see them if you ask them but they will be happy to help or advise you if needed. Starting in September 2026, there will be another gîte on the property, with a separate entrance and land. The pool will be shared between the 2 vacation rentals Finally, you will find everything you need to do your shopping in the small town of Saint Sauveur Villages (bakery, butcher, grocery store) 5 minutes by car, or in Coutances 10 minutes by car if you want a larger city (supermarkets, restaurants...)
