AREA The Ajuda area is close to one of the most frequented beaches on the island, Praia Formosa, and one of the largest shopping centers on the island, Fórum Madeira. In this parish is concentrated a large part of the hotel units of Madeira, and is undoubtedly a busy location for tourism, due to easy access to various attractions such as cafes and restaurants. Within a 15-minute walk from the property you can find, in different directions, Praia Formosa, a promenade, a garden, two beaches of Lido, the Natural Pools of Doca do Cavacas, and the Bathing Complex of Ponta Gorda. If you opt for a longer walk of about 45 minutes, you can walk to the center of Funchal. GETTING AROUND The best option to get to the apartment will be the transfer. Ask us to book one with our local partners. It is cheaper than the taxis you find at the airport. If you rent a car, any navigation app can easily find the address.
