We welcome you to our island home—we’re so glad you found us! “Where Birds Fly” is a restful, quiet place offering a private space for creating your own vacation. The space This VERY spacious (2200 sq. ft.!) suite comprises 3 rooms + ¾ bath, offering for your enjoyment a TempurPedic king-sized bed with an extensive library. A fully equipped kitchen includes a grind-n-brew coffeemaker and the adjacent family room provides a 65” TV and a DVD/CD player with surround sound. Our immediate surroundings are perfect for enjoying one of Washington’s premier bird sanctuary (eagles, hawks, herons, ducks, geese, pelicans, various songbirds). Looking out from your private patio you will see majestic Double Bluff, with its public beach on Puget Sound or just enjoy the backyard garden where bunnies munch on clover. A bit further afield—yet within easy driving distance—you will find salmon fishing, kayaking, kiteboarding, sailboarding, clamming, and hiking (all needed equipment is BYO). Try the sporty Holmes Harbor Golf Course! Great local farm markets make the scene on weekends from May to October. The charming village of Langley invites you to explore its art dealers, great restaurants, boutiques, movie theater (right out the 1950’s!), crafts, festivals, and cultural opportunities at Whidbey Island Center for the Arts. Washington’s most popular state park is located at the spectacular Deception Pass, just a 50 minute drive north. We look forward to meeting our guests and providing an exceptional experience!
