At 'The Sunset Nook', we have taken every effort to add every amenity possible to make a perfect experience. One block away from Sutherland family Park (See Pics). Our home is surrounded by landscape lighting to create a relaxing/secure environment. Our guest comfort and security is a top priority; spotlight/security cameras monitor the property for guests. At Sunset Nook, we strive to differentiate ourselves from others by focusing on the little personal things that make stays truly memorable. Amenities our home offers are: - Park as many as three cars in front of the property and walk to Spooky Nook! We are only half a mile away! - We have equipped each of our three bedrooms with a different type of mattress, Plush pillow top, hybrid memory foam and firm memory foam. A fourth queen size pullout bed (equipped with pillow top mattress cover) is available in the living room. - 6 smart tv's in the house. Each of our three upstairs bedrooms have a 45" smart tv. All tv's have access to Hulu, Peacock, Starz and Disney Plus. There is a 65" smart tv in the living room, a 55" smart tv in the game room and a 35" smart tv in the Kitchen. - 600 mbps High speed internet. Perfect for working remotely. - Fenced in, private backyard. - Each bedroom is equipped with memory foam pillows. - Fully stocked kitchen (waffle maker, cooking pots and pans, coffee maker, Keurig, air fryer, blender, panini maker and toaster). -We also have over a dozen different cooking spices on our spice shelf for those who love to cook! - Fully stocked coffee bar (decaf coffee, regular coffee, tea and hot chocolate with varieties of creamer and sugar). - If you are not a Keurig fan or a fan of artificial sweetener, we have you covered! We have individual packets of coffee and individual packets of real cane sugar to go along with our Coffee maker! - Dedicated working desk with fully functional docking station setup (two monitors, monitor camera for working from home, wireless keyboard and mouse). Simply plug in and get to work! We also have a private working desk available upstairs in one of the bedrooms. - Play Station 2 (with over 20 different games, Twisted Metal 4, Mortal Kombat Trilogy, Tekken 3, bandicoot 3 and more! ). - Xbox 1S (with over 20 physical and preloaded games, Fortnite, Forza Horizon 4, Halo Master Chief Collection, Mortal Kombat XL, Call of Duty, Grand Theft Auto 5 and more! ). - Air Purifiers located in each room for those with allergies. - Noise cancelling ear plugs and noise machines available in every bedroom. - Back patio with relaxing fountain and optional firepit. - Game room with 55" smart tv / dartboard / foosball table. - Ironing board with iron and starch spray. -Three different outside games ( Big-Jenga, Big Connect Four and Corn Hole). - Surround Sound system with 65" smart tv in Living Room. - Bathroom fan with Bluetooth speaker. -His / Her supplies in the bathroom (everything from Q-tips and face wash to feminine hygiene supplies. Guest access You will be able to access the house through the smart pad keyless entry. Code will be provided on day of booking. Other things to note Disclaimers: At this time, we can only offer street parking. As many as three cars can be parked in front of the property. We do not believe our house is set up for toddlers and small children (mainly because of the stairs and our standard sized toilet, it is not elongated). Generally, the basement will be locked. However, for an extra charge guests can have access to our brand-new Samsung Washer and Dryer. As seen in exterior pictures, you will need to walk up 8 concrete stairs to reach the front porch. Also, as seen in the additional photos, this is a two-story home. All of the bedrooms and bathroom are located on the second floor. This does mean you will need to walk up the stairs to access the upstairs section of the house. If you have issues with stairs please please take the time to reconsider our home. This is something we CANNOT change about the house. There are several low points for those taller than 6’ 1”. Rules: It is the responsibility of the person who booked to clearly communicate the house rules to the other guests. - In order for us to accept a booking request, you must have at least one review from a previous trip on your profile. -You must book for the correct number of people staying in the house under your reservation. -Feminine hygiene products/flushable wipes CANNOT be flushed down the toilet. -We request that all eating be done at either the coffee table in the living room, the six provided tv trays in the living room and game room or at the dining table downstairs (seats 4) and not in the bedrooms. We have had to replace many sheets, and comforters along with sections of the carpet due to food and drink staining. This is becoming very expensive for us and is very hard to do at the last minute. - Under no circumstances should guests be urinating in the backyard. This is disrespectful to our neighbors and their children. PLEASE utilize the bathroom in the house. We can have our short-term rental license revoked by the city because of indecent exposure by our guests! - No pets. While we do not discriminate against service animals, we do ask for documentation. No service animal can be left alone in the house for any duration of time. The service animal needs to stay with the person it is providing the service to. -We do not accept third party reservations; if you are the one who booked you have to be one of the guests staying. We cannot review you if you never stayed at the house. -Absolutely no smoking /vaping inside the home (you will need to use the provided ash trays located on both the front and back porch). Some guests are sensitive to the smell of smoke and you will be charged the cost of renting an ozone machine to remove the smell. -Please utilize the ash trays provided. Do NOT simply throw the cigarette buts in the yard, we did have a fire start recently in the yard because of this. Luckily, we arrived in time to put it out, but this is still highly concerning. -We prefer not to have more than 6 people staying at the house at once (this includes guests). However, exceptions can be made with prior approval. Please respect this. - In a humble attempt to reduce carpet cleaning expenses we do ask for shoes to be removed when in the home.
