Ideal for families or couples it serves as a cosy base to discover the charms of Cornwall. Gwithian Beach just minutes away and the vibrant scenes of Hayle and St Ives nearby, there's plenty to explore. Wind down your day on the private deck, watching the sun dip as you savor your favorite drink while the BBQ sizzles your sausages. The space Welcome to Annie’s Place! From the moment you step inside, Annie’s Place feels bright, spacious, and inviting. This larger-than-average, 36ft x 12ft ABI Appleby caravan (2012 model) features double glazing and central heating throughout, ensuring a comfortable stay in any season. ⸻ Kitchen The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for a stress-free, self-catering break, including: ✔ Full-size 70/30 fridge freezer ✔ Full-size gas cooker ✔ Microwave, double toaster, kettle & air fryer ✔ Pots, pans, cutlery, crockery & glassware You’ll find a First Aid kit, iron, dustpan & brush, and cleaning supplies in the cupboard under the sink. For safety, a fire extinguisher and fire blanket are conveniently placed near the cooker. To help you settle in, we provide tea, coffee, and sugar, along with milk in the fridge to get you started. ⸻ Lounge & Dining Area The comfortable lounge is perfect for unwinding after a day out. It features: ✔ Large wrap-around sofa ✔ 32” Smart HD TV with Netflix (please use the ‘Guest’ login, or feel free to bring your own Fire Stick) ✔ Electric fire to keep things cosy on cooler days ✔ Tower fan for warm weather ✔ Echo Pop (‘Alexa’ activated) for news, music, and podcasts The dining area comfortably seats four, with banquette seating and two stools. ⸻ Master Bedroom Your generous master bedroom offers a peaceful retreat with: ✔ King-size bed (5ft x 6ft 3”) dressed in 200-thread-count cotton bedding with hypoallergenic ‘feels-like-down’ duvet & pillows (both firm and medium options) ✔ Built-in touch lamps with USB-A & USB-C ports for easy charging ✔ Ample storage, including two large fitted wardrobes, drawers, shelves, and a vanity area ✔ Hairdryer provided for your convenience (located in the vanity area) ✔ Tower fan (stored in the cupboard) and ironing board (under the bed) ⸻ Twin/Convertible Bedroom The second bedroom includes: ✔ Two single beds, which can be converted into a comfortable double (please request when booking) ✔ ‘Feels-like-down’ duvets & pillows with 200-thread-count cotton bedding ✔ A lamp with USB-A & USB-C ports ✔ A full-length wardrobe, mirror, and shelf for storage ✔ Tower fan in the cupboard For safety, unused electric sockets have covers fitted. ⸻ Bathroom The bright and airy bathroom features: ✔ Sliding double shower enclosure ✔ Heated towel rail (powered by the central heating) ✔ A generous set of grey towels per guest (bath sheet, bath towel, and hand towel) To help keep your packing light, beach towels are also provided—they’re stored in the master bedroom’s shelving cupboard. (We kindly ask that the grey towels remain inside the property.) ⸻ Additional Features ✔ Cordless Shark hoover stored in the boiler cupboard for your convenience ⸻ Outdoor Space & Paddock Step outside onto a spacious 16m² deck overlooking the paddock—a perfect spot to relax and soak up the sun throughout the day. You’ll find outdoor seating and dining furniture, with cushions stored in the deck box for extra comfort. While we don’t provide a BBQ, we do offer a BBQ stand that fits securely over the deck railing. You’ll find it in the storage box—simply pair it with a disposable BBQ for easy outdoor cooking. For safety, please allow the BBQ to cool fully (ideally overnight) before disposing of it in the bin. On warm, dry evenings, the deck is a lovely place to unwind as the sun sets. If it gets a little chilly, feel free to grab one of the throws from the lounge for extra cosiness. ⸻ Paddock & Play Area The securely enclosed paddock is yours to enjoy, making it a safe space for both children and four-legged friends to explore. However, please note that the ground is currently firm with some stony patches due to recent landscaping work. For our younger guests, we’ve added a swing-slide playhouse combo—a great little spot for adventure! For safety, we kindly ask that children use it under direct adult supervision. It’s designed for children over 3 years old, with the following weight limits: ✔ 100kg max for the playhouse ✔ 50kg max for the swings and slide We’re also working to make the paddock a haven for wildlife! You’ll notice newly planted fruit trees and a chain of insect hotels along the fence, helping to create a more nature-friendly space. ⸻ Final Thoughts Annie’s Place is designed to be a comfortable, relaxing retreat where you can unwind, explore, and make wonderful memories. If you have any questions during your stay, we’re always happy to help! Guest access The whole Caravan, decking and secure paddock is for the sole use of Annie’s Place guests. We live on the land in the main house set away from the paddock and cabin. Other things to note Doggo Hamper 🐾 We’ve put together a Doggo Hamper for your furry friend to use during their stay, which includes: ✔ Two cosy throws ✔ Two dog towels (perfect for drying off after adventures!) ✔ Food mat ✔ Poo bags ✔ A selection of biscuits ✔ A ball for playtime We also provide four food bowls and a large outdoor water bowl. There’s a hose outside for rinsing off muddy paws after beach trips or countryside walks. Please bring your dog’s bed and anything else they may need to feel at home. ⸻ Parking 🚗 There is private, off-road parking for two vehicles, located directly alongside the steps leading up to the front door. Please pull forward as far as possible to ensure our family vehicles can get in and out of the driveway smoothly. ⸻ Waste & Recycling ♻️ Near the entrance of the caravan, you’ll find: ✔ Two wheelie bins – one for mixed recycling (with a clear bag inside) and one for general waste (with a black bag inside) including bagged rubbish and dog waste bags. ✔ Black box – for glass recycling only. We kindly ask that you pick up after your furry friend when they’re enjoying the paddock—let’s keep it clean and safe for everyone! ⸻ Wi-Fi 📶 Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the caravan. You’ll find the QR code to connect easily by the fireplace in the lounge—just scan it with your phone’s camera. ⸻ Location & Surroundings 🌿 We are situated close to the A30, so there is the potential for background traffic noise, particularly when the roads are wet.
