Small & cozy Albrook room with private bathroom
A small room conveniently located 1.5 km away from the Albrook airport, Albrook Mall, American & Russian Embassy, variety of restaurants and supermarkets. A bus stop is a 2-min. walk that takes you to the Albrook bus terminal where you catch the Metro which now connects to Tocumen International Airport (about a 1-hour journey that costs approximately $1.50 pp) Casco Viejo is about a ten-minute drive ( 4.2 km) as is the Panama Canal. Please note: room has no window. The room is small but very comfortable and has all amenities. A television with American local channels (ABC, NBC & CBS plus all the movie channels, sports, news, and PPV in English). It is located off the laundry room and is very private. You have your own bathroom, there is a full-sized bed and a closet with drawer space. The bed does have memory foam, so if you prefer a hard bed, let me know prior to your arrival and I will remove it. Please note that the room has no window. You are able to access the pool area, the kitchen, living room, dining room, and the balcony. I live on the property with my children (teens), as does my sister (her apartment is next to the room). I also have another room I rent upstairs. Albrook is an old U.S. Airforce base and has many amenities. We have many restaurants, a few small bars, 3 big chain supermarkets, and is safe to walk around in. The local airport is located here so if you are catching a flight to Bocas del Torro or Boquete and need a place for an evening, this room is very convenient. The local bus stop is just across the main street. Parking is available outside the house for no cost. Uber is a common form of transportation here. If you do not like animals (or have allergies), this is not the place for you. I have a cat and two dogs and my sister has 3 cats. They will not be in your room but are on the property.
