Our cozy cottage is nestled conveniently next Black Rock Sanctuary (191 acres) where you can enjoy walking trails and the Schuykill River and just 2 miles from downtown Phoenixville you'll will find distinctive shops, dining and arts and entertainment. Access to the house is via two sets of 3 steps. The driveway /parking is double wide and can accommodate 6 vehicles if needed. Inside you'll find a large eat-in kitchen with a farm table and island. The kitchen is fully equipped for meal preparation. It includes dishwasher, microwave and coffee maker. You'll find two bedrooms and a full bath on the main level as well as the living room and kitchen. Up a full flight of steps,upstairs, you'll find two bedrooms including the master and a full bath. There is a television in 3 of 4 bedrooms and another in the living (URL HIDDEN) living room is on the main level with a comfortable leather couch and beautiful picture window. On the lower level a rec. room. with a gym,pool table, dart board, laundry area with washer and dry and another small kitchen with fridge. There is a bilco door to the backyard. There are several outdoor areas to enjoy: the sunny side patio, the shady covered front porch, the large fenced in back yard with a sprawling maple tree, double swing, picnic tables and chiminea and BBQ grill. Rick and Brenda your Co-hosts like to stay in touch with their guests and are always only a phone call or text away. "We try if our schedules allows to greet you in person but, if that isn't possible you might see us if we stop by for a hello or some gardening or yard work" The 191 acre Black Rock Sanctuary directly across the street has access for walking,hiking and fishing. Phoenixville's Bridge St. lined with shopping ,dining,breweries,wineries and coffee shops is just 2 minutes away. There is also a boat launch 1/4 mile down the road if you are a boater. Motorized boats,kayaks . We do offer kayak rental for added fee. and entertainment and history. You are with in 5-10 minute of King of Prussia,Philadelphia Outlets, Collegeville and Valley Forge, and Valley Forge Casino Oaks Expo Center and all kinds of other fun stuff! Uber is available in this area. Private Events: We offer an opportunity to our guests for small private gatherings on our grounds from 15- 50 guests at an additional charge and separate agreement requirement. Events must be exclusively contracted with Catering by Brenda Carter your host Brenda for liability purposes. She is able to accommodate a wide array of tastes and styles with many years of experience in the kitchen. Our backyard space is large, flat and open with one sprawling maple tree to lend some shade. Tent rental is also available upon request for a fee. It brings us great pleasure to share our home and the gathering spaces we have created for you with your friends and family.
